Let me start by saying I absolutely love this series overall. It's sweet and fun and cozy and so romantic. The found family elements are perfection, and the couples are fantastic and feel like fated souls.

Now, this book was my least favorite one from the whole series. I don't know what exactly was missing, but something did.

I liked Nova. She was fun and sassy and hilarious. I like that she was driven and went for what she wanted. I love her family and how much they care for each other.

I love charlie. I identified with him. his feeling of not being worthy of not belonging anywhere. he was such a sweet character. he made me smile and swooned and cried so much. by the end, I think he became-closely- my fave (Beckett still is my number one). I love the way he stood up to his dad, and I feel he healed something in me, too. he's one of those characters you feel proud of and wish he was real.

Their romance felt more lust than love and its part because it felt a little bit rush. Also, because I felt like Charlie gave way too much, and Nova just "met his feelings" by the end. That nagged me a little. Still, I enjoyed their relationship, but I didn't love it like with the rest of the couples.

Overall, this was a cute and sweet book and a great addition to the series (although I'd love a final wrapped up of all the couples).

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

The fourth book in the Lovelight Series gives us Charlie and Nova's story - friends with benefits to lovers done to perfection. It  was exactly the happily ever after, feel good fix I wanted it to be. It's bursting at the seams with friendship, family and love. It's also full of humour. I loved Charlie and Nova - the tension between them, their vulnerabilities and the tender moments made for wonderful reading and once again the meddlesome community of Inglewood fairly warmed my heart. I'm sad to see the end of this series which only went from strength to strength but it was the perfect farewell to Lovelight Farm and to Inglewood which will live forever in my mind as the cosiest, most picturesque fictional town ever imagined!

Aggstddsgsfgshs this is the perfect send off and the ending of a beloved series. You can feel the love the author has for this world in each sentence and paragraph. It feels like a warm hug from a friend you haven't seen in a while but you missed. And it's a beautiful story to be read on a warm day.

I wish it was autumn now and I lived on a Christmas Tree Farm with a pumpkin patch too. During a harvest festival where everything is warm and fuzzy and amazing.

I loved that the last book began with Stella and Luke's wedding. Their journey was beautiful and I'm glad to see it being continued. I love that all of the characters from the previous book appear here too.

Charlie and Luka are my favourite male characters from this series. I love them. Am I still salty that Luka didn't get his pov in Lovelight Farms? Yes. Am I happy to see Charlie obsessing over Nova? Hell yeah. That's what I love the most: male characters losing their shit and having their brains broken because of how much they want and love the female characters.

I've loved Charlie since the first moment I met him in Lovelight Farms and I'm so happy that he's getting his happy ending now. Nova is amazing, sassy and confident and I love her too. They fit together perfectly and I love how their personalities fit together and how happy they make each other.

This book will have a special place in my heart. It was amazing and I loved it.

Big thanks to NetGalley and Pan MacMillan for providing the arc to this book.

Charlie is chaos and good intentions made flesh. He is kind and willing. He is passionate and loves with all of his heart. And I love that! The ADHD rep was prominent but not overly in your face. As someone who has ADHD I always question how much of the traits and manerisms get picked up on by neurotypical readers. I never know. I recognized a lot of Charlie to be impacted by his ADHD and was happy to see it reflected on page. But I don't knoe if it was obvious to everyone else.
But take it from me, the rep was amazing. Casual but present. Not just a lable for funsies, it actually impacted him in tangible ways.

Nova, boss babe extraordinaire. Kind human, tattooed grumpy girl. Becketts little sister. A person who wants to do good. To succeed. To not let the people she loves down.

I saw bits of myself in both of them. I love it when that happens! And they made a lovely couple. Or well... friends with benefits to something more, haha. This book had the trope 'everyone knows but them' and it had me kicking my feet multiple times.
Borisons writing in general is very giggle and kicking-my-feet inducing. It is a warm hug, a comfort and a distraction. I always will recommend this series to anyone looking for comfort stories.

After I finished reading I was kind of sad. It had ended. But the longer I think about this book, the more I love it. The more it feels like the perfect ending (with a little room for bonus stuff in the future). I am satisfied and happy where everyone ended up!

So. Read this book for all the banter, nicknames, friends to lovers, small town, bossbabe and goofy loving vibes!

I never want to leave Inglewild! Charlie and Nova’s story was my favourite yet. The way they grew together was beautiful. I’m once again left feeling like these characters are real, that if I walked out my front door I’d find myself in Inglewild. This place feels like home & if that isn’t the sign of the perfect novel, I don’t know what is.

This series has become a firm favourite of mine and I’m incredibly sad that it’s over!

Business Casual easily holds the most humour in all of the series. The dynamic between Nova and Charlie is teasing and full of dry sarcasm and funny earnestness to compliment the romantic tension between the couple. As ever, the small town of Inglewild continues to interfere and play cupid and honestly I love them for it.

The characters in this book were my favourite, especially Charlie. New bookish boyfriend unlocked! He’s handsome, rich, a people pleaser and his insecurities make him deeply endearing rather than annoying. I loved how Nova was so accepting of him in his entirety and vice versa.

I still think it’s not as good as lovelight farms as it doesn’t have as much plot depth, literally all the focus goes on the romance and is capable of making any unavailable folk feel single. This series is heartwarming, funny, spicy, and has a book to enjoy for each season.

This book was a perfect finish to the trilogy. I have enjoyed all of the lovelight farm trilogy and this book is no exception. Nova and Charlie were perfect for each other. The pacing was perfect and organic and it was all around a lovely read! I would recommend this book to anyone!

This was the absolute perfect conclusion to the Lovelight farms series. I adored Charlie and Nova’s story, I completely fell in love with them both as individuals and their relationship which started off as a friends with benefits situation until it started to get complicated with feelings. They were perfect for each other and balanced each other out so well.
I also loved the snippets of the other Lovelight farms couples, getting to catch up with Beckett and Evie, Stella and Luka and Caleb and Layla and also some of the other town members.

Highly recommend this book, but I also highly recommend starting with Lovelight farms and reading in order to get the full effect!

I received both the physical and digital copy of this book, y’all are sleeping on this series!

It’s such a cozy romance series but add a little bit of spice.

These books take place in a small town called Inglewild and if it was a real place, I would feel horrible for anyone who breaks up there.

Business Casual focuses on the sister of our favorite Cat Daddy Gardener Himbo Beckett, Nova and the half brother of the first book’s main character, Charlie. Ranking wise, this couple is my second favorite after Layla and Caleb.

Please note I’m horrible at reviewing books without spoiling them, however I do recommend this series. I thought they were all super cute and cozy. Each book taking place in a different season! This one is fall.

What a finale to the Lovelight Farms series!! This book was my absolute fave, Nova and Charlie were adorable and I just couldn’t get enough of them and our Charlie Boy.

Charlie is so unbelievably adorable, I hate that he constantly underestimates himself! If I could have crawled through the pages to hold him and tell him how special he was I would have 😂

I just loved every second, the chemistry between Nova and Charlie was everything, the banter exceptional and the way they reluctantly but inevitably let down their walls to let the other in was just beautiful to read.

I loved that the whole Lovelight team got him on board, Stella and Luca starting their next chapter and Charlie being a Porter 😭

B.K. Borison is a genius at writing cosy small town romances that make you feel all the feels, whilst also feeling like you’re right there with her characters. Perfection!

This book was just adorable, a brilliant conclusion to the Lovelight Farms series!

I really loved getting to know Nova and Charlie better and seeing everyone else’s lives moving on since the end of their books.

Some bits were so funny I had to stop myself from laughing out loud on the train! It was like a big warm hug in a book.

The character development and world building were brilliant and it’s such a shame Inglewild isn’t a place I can visit…

Would thoroughly recommend this series to all romance readers

Why can’t Inglewild be a real place, I want to be on the phone tree!

I loved being back at Lovelight Farms, it was great to see all the characters we know and love, and to get to know Charlie and Nova more in this book. Charlie is basically just a big golden retriever, totally sweet and loveable. He made this book for me. I really enjoyed the chemistry and banter that Nova and Charlie had, there were some laugh out loud moments as well as some lovely sweet moments too.

We saw quite a lot of the Porter family, Caleb and a few appearances from Stella, Luca and Layla but I wish we could have seen a bit more of the townsfolk in this one.

I know this is the final book in the series but I do hope we get to visit Inglewild and the characters again somewhere down the line.

While I really enjoyed this one, it didn’t replace my current favourites in the series ranking so I’ve settled on a rating of a 3.75⭐️

Thank you for my eARC of this book. It was so nice to be back at lovelight farms. This series is such a comfort and I love everything about it: the setting, the characters, the plot and the romance itself. I loved Nova and Charlie’s story and love the idea of what is next for lovelight farms, even if I won’t get to read about it!

I’ve been having a hard time reading this year due to some life changes but Charlie and Nova swooped in and said, here, let us help you. I read Business Casual in a day and a half and I loved every single second of it.

This series has had a special place in my heart since I read Lovelight Farms back when it was originally released and I can confirm that every single instalment of this series is like a warm hug in a book. These characters and this fictional world Becs has given us is just magical and I love every single second I can spend in Inglewild. (Which is a lot of seconds because I’ve read the first book four times and the others all twice - but I digress.)

I always knew I was going to love Charlie and Nova but I wasn’t prepared for them to exceed every expectation I had. Charlie really is a boy obsessed and I am obsessed with that. I love this man and his obsessive, sweet, soft, broken boy nature, with my whole heart. And Nova is a badass with so many layers and the pressure of everyone’s expectations on her shoulders. It was so beautiful watching them be themselves around each other while they tried to fight the inevitable.

I’m always bit skeptical about the brothers best friend trope because I hate the over-protective, weird vibe the brother usually has but Beckett wasn’t like that at all and it just made me love him even more.

Becs absolutely nailed the last trip to Inglewild, giving us glimpses of the other couples and the wonderful town and people who live there while also making us fall in love with Charlie and Nova. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!!!

So long for now, Inglewild. (Not forever because I will be rereading this series forever, the ultimate comfort series!!!)

Also see some notes I made while reading just because :) (mild spoilers below so just a warning!!)

- Beckett just wholly believing in nova I’m crying 😭😭😭😭 “of course it is, you did it”
- All the lovelight couples together at the start I AM EMOTIONAL 😭😭😭😭
- Boy is obsessed and I am obsessed
- “Ready when you are nova girl” DEAD
- “You talking about spreadsheets nova girl” grinning like a FOOL
- “If you’re a good boy…” “is that what you like? Good boys?” 🫠🫠🫠
- Charlie knowing pretty woman makes me love him even more omg
- Charlie my sweet boy ily
- “I always notice you nova girl” SCREAMING
- “I’ve never been anyone’s favourite” 😭😭😭😭😭😭 screamed so loud my husband came to check on me
- Beckett not being the weirdo older brother annoyed that she’s dating his friend we LOVE HIM!!!!
- “Can I take your name? Can I be a porter?” Oh I’m SOBBING

“I’ve taught myself how to be okay with fragments of feeling, but I don't want that with you. I want more than what you’ve given me.”</b>

Visiting Inglewild one last time feels like going home as much as it feels heartbreaking. I wholeheartedly live this series and each of the previous books, and Business Casual didn’t disappoint.
The book follows the story of Charlie Milford, a lighthearted and fun man who works in finances and lives in New York (but is always in the small town his sisters and friends live in), and Nova Porter, a badass tattoo artist who is just about to start her own business. They have known each other for a long time, and are sort of good friends. Neither wants a relationship, but once they admit the attraction they feel towards each other and agree on having a one-night-stand, and the more time they start to spend together, things start to change.
I loved to get to know Charlie and Nova better. Both have way more layers than they usually let show, which added depth and ways for one to relate to their story. Charlie is the dearest and kindest person one could meet, always the life of the party who goes out of his way to make everyone happy, but he’s also someone who has endured a lifetime of mistreatment and pressure from his dad, and is a traumatized, grade-A people-pleaser. And Nova, while she was raised by a big, loving, and supportive family, grew up to be someone who thinks she always has to meet everyone else’s expectations—even when she’s the one setting them in her head, making her anxious, which she often disguises with some attitude. Nova and Charlie had their moments in the book, and I enjoyed a lot seeing them as they worked through their problems, and grew more confident together.
I also loved the progress of their relationship. Charlie and Nova’s friendship was very precious and well portrayed from the start, and the changes and 'updates' on it always felt so natural. It’s impossible not to understand how and why they fell in love, and not to love them too. They’re so lovable and make a great team. They have amazing chemistry, and their scenes (both cute and spicy ones) were always on point. They also understand and take care of each other, always filling in the gaps for one another—meaning they complete each other in every possible and necessary sense.
The book was so good and well-written. The story has a great pace, and there are no major struggles between the characters. And it’s lovely and good to revisit characters from previous books. I loved to see Luka, Stella, Beckett, Evie, Caleb, and Layla again, seeing how they’re doing and wishing for new epilogues for all of them. As I said before, saying goodbye to Lovelight and these characters I love so dearly feels bittersweet, but I know there’s a lot of good things to come from Becs, and I can (and will) always come back to re-read my family.

Thanks to NetGalley, B.K. Borison, and the publisher for sending me an ARC to this book.

I'm sad because this is the last book in the Lovelight series but at the same time, I'm happy because Nova and Charlie found their happily ever after.

Returning to Lovelight Farm is a pleasure and this book was no exception, from the first pages we see how Nova and Charlie get along, the tension, the banter, all of that we see from the beginning and that folks, I loved it, let's see we knew more or less what this book was about from all the little teasers that the author gave us but finally reading it is another story, these two were pure dynamite and I loved that the book was drama-free.

Charlie is a classy teddy bear and no one can say otherwise, he just wanted to belong to a place and Inglewild is that for him, I'm going to confess that Charlie made me cry on many occasions, my poor boy is everything that is right in this life, I didn't see anything wrong with him and he should be protected at all costs (which we see at the end and is undoubtedly the best scene in the whole book); Nova, my girl, I definitely want to be like you when I grow up, she is a strong protagonist and capable of everything, she just wants her family to be proud of her and to be able to run a successful business, but let's go even though she doesn't want to, she feels alone and that's where Charlie comes in.

The relationship was beautiful, from beginning to end and I just want a thousand stories of these two, I just want to be happy as I was reading them because yes, every scene made me smile, every scene made me giggle with happiness, the two have a beautiful chemistry and I loved that they found a home in each other.

It was more than a pleasure to read this last book, it was a very beautiful journey that came to an end and the author closed it with a golden clasp. Now if you excuse me I will go back to read this series from the beginning because I miss them a lot already.

thanks to the publisher and netgalley for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

Oh my goodness… I adored this book! Couldn’t put it down. I thought book one would always be my favourite but this beats all the books in the series in my opinion. It can be read as a stand alone if you haven’t read the series!

Set in a small town, Nova is single and is in the process of opening her own tattoo studio. Her friends brother, Charlie, is in town from NewYork for a little while and although the two have always been friends, one night at a wedding is the beginning of the sparks between them.

Oh Charlie, you beautiful sweet man, my new book boyfriend. He is such a sweetheart!!! And I loved Nova and the relationship between develops so beautifully. Spice? Oh yes, lots of lovely spice! And such likable characters.

You will also see characters from the previous books and there were some laugh out loud moments.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and to the author for this review copy I loved it!

If there was a higher rating than 5 stars I would give this book all the extra stars! I freaking loved it so so much. My favourite one out of the series.
Charlie and Novas story is sexy as hell, the chemistry they had was on point, the friendship that developed into love without them realising, them finally realising it and admitting it to one another, chefs kiss👌🏻 they are perfect together.
Charlie is perfect, I love him! He is top tier book boyfriend material.
The writing is amazing, I feel so involved in the story. I adore the autumn vibes.

I think this series is one of my FAVOURITE series of all time and I will be forever recommending it!

I’m looking for a guy in finance…and I’ve found him, Charlie Milford is a top tier book boyfriend!

I absolutely loved Business Casual, the whole Lovelight series is such a comfort series and BC kept that vibe going.

I had a feeling from the little snippets of Charlie we got in the other books that he would be my fave, and yep he definitely is and Nova girl, I loved her, she’s got this hard shell of an exterior but is just desperate not to disappoint those she loves.

I felt like Charlie and Nova fought hard (against their own insecurities) to get their HEA but it was so worth it, I just wanted to squeeze them both!

I didn’t want to see this series end, but this was the perfect finish for it and all the little moments we got from the previous couples was perfection 💖

Thank you NetGalley and BK Borison for the ARC
