Great story, thrilling plot that I could not put down. Well worth a read, and would recommend to others.
I'm not usually a fan of compilations of short stories, novels or novellas are my thing. One at a time, with a direct ending. However, Kathy Reichs is one of my all time favourite authors and once again, she drew me into her world of forensics.
Fantastic short stories!
I loved this book,i am a great fan of bones the TV programme, and have read every book that Kathy reichs written,a very good book well written and keeps you guessing,a must read
The bone collection by Kathy Riech is a general fiction (adult) read.
In First Bones, a prequel to Reichs’s very first novel, Déjà Dead, she at last reveals how Tempe became a forensic anthropologist. In this never-before-published story, Tempe recalls the case that lured her from a promising career in academia into the grim but addictive world of criminal investigation.
Three more stories take Tempe from the low country of the Florida Everglades, where she makes a grisly discovery in the stomach of an eighteen-foot Burmese python, to the heights of Mount Everest, where a frozen corpse is unearthed.
An absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. I love story and the characters. I will be reading more of Kathy books. Highly recommended. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
