While it is considered and categorized as General Fiction, I think this could be lumped in with thrillers as well. The fear Gina Gray may be next, or someone from the book group may be killed next makes for an interesting and gripping novel.

I enjoyed this book, it wasn't really my cup of tea, I am not a huge fan of politics in my books. I loved the main character, Gina, she was witty, honest and relatable. I loved that she was willing to do whatever it took to try to solve this crime even work with her nemesis.

I will most likely be checking out other books by this author.

This was somewhat disappointing for me. Perhaps i would have been more invested if I had read this author before. The beginning was slow for me, with only a slight improvement halfway through. I felt this book tried too hard to be too much....political, feminism, literary, red herrings...all in one murder mystery.
