I'm unable to read and review this book due to the way the NetGalley version is formatted.

I loved the idea of the book and couldn't wait to read it, although it wasn't quite what I expected. I wanted more about books and less about the authors personal life. I think there was just a bit too much information that I really couldn't relate to. I also felt there was a bit too much information about the lives of the books authors rather than the impact of the books themselves. I understand what he was trying to do but it didn't quite work for me. I think this book will appeal to people with a similar lifestyle and interests. I was also deeply touched by Giovanni's Room and still remember the emotions it provoked while reading it, and it was really interesting to view another's perspective on this book. I am a voracious reader and have the same philosophy about what books can do for us, but I think I lacked a connection with the author. Still a good book that I hope will appeal to many people. It is good to know that there are other obsessive readers out there who are willing to search for answers and understanding in print. Good luck with it. I hope it touches many people. Encouraging more reading, and book talk is a brilliant thing to do - Thank You
