I didn't realise this is book two until I went to review it on goodreads as the blurb implies it is a new series so I have adjusted by star rating accordingly. you don't need to have read book one as I didn't, but it probably helps to build the characters and explain why and how Beaky can no longer lye.

the book is funny in places and had me laughing out loud, especially the bit about dad cooking dinner.

the story follows Beaky through two days where he can't lie but everyone assumes he is, I am guessing due to be a lier in the last book, and all the adventures he gets up to especially when he goes to a theme park on the second day.

overall a good read and can't wait for book three
