A great saga read that I couldn’t put down. This book reeled me in from the start. I recommend this book to all saga fans.

Good book. Good author. Loved the characters and the plot. Look forward to reading more of her work.

Flo dreams of escaping her life and making a new one in Australia. She cleans cruise ships when they dock locally and has always wanted to take a trip herself. She has a very tough home life and thinks conspire against her. It was very interesting to read about life around the dock areas and then at Mondays a company that provides the complete lifestyle for it's employees. It sounded very like the Cadbury area in Bournville where the housing was for the employees and they arranged social events.

We hear from her twin daughters point of view throughout the book and see how they also want to follow their dreams.

Flo also wants to climb out of the downtrodden female role and make a name for herself.

This was a debut novel and I would try another book by Sue Wisher.
