An interesting take on a readers group novel it did drag on a bit and it was a bit of a chore.

The Reading Group in the title is a little misleading as there it doesn't actually feature much in the story. The group are reading Emma but Anne Marie the main character hadn't read it. Having not read Emma I'm not sure if the storyline of this book bears any similarities. But it a light, entertain and quick read. Anne Marie likes to meddle in other people's lives but it doesn't always go the way she has planned with often amusing consequences. I will be reading the rest of the books in the series. Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the chance to read this book.
