I have not read any of Mr Tessier’s books before, and I was not disappointed.
Interesting read, and recommended.

The violent episode which takes over him when he finds a neighbor caused a fire in his building is just the beginning to other episodes warning Bobby a horrific change is happening. This author knows how to move the reader in a narrative of psychological, paranormal terror.

I did not finish this book. I could not engage with the story or characters.

The nightwalker by thomas tessier is a mystery and thriller read.
Bobby Ives never considered himself a violent man. That was until he attacked a man in his apartment building for nearly starting a fire.

When a trip to Harrods’ results in Bobby blacking out, he and his girlfriend come to the conclusion he must be getting migraines.

But when he starts shaking uncontrollably and watches himself murder his lover, he worries there may be more to the headaches than he previously thought.

His daily jaunts to Hyde Park become a site of terror, as he finds himself running at inhuman pace, chasing an unassuming jogger.

The overwhelming power of this urge over his body and his mind.

Night after night, he stalks the streets, looking for his prey – all the while trying to control the need that flows through him.
This was a really good read with good characters. I really felt for Bobby. 4*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.

While I am a fan of edgy horror, I was not impressed by this at all. Sex for shock value; zombies; werewolves; reincarnation....too much.

Just an okay read. Could have been a little more scarier.
