This book has no help from Mick Jagger, but goes by interviews from people around him and from the records of his childhood and forward. I really was hoping for something more but for the most part the book was good. Most of the stuff in it I had heard about except for some of his earlier days before the band got together. Being a Stones fan from the first time I had heard them I cannot be disappointed to much in this book. Overall not bad.
Awesome story. Can’t wait to read more from this author!!!
A biography about Mick Jagger...
I'm no big fan of biographies and here's why: either it is an official biography or it isn't. If it is it's usually polished up, you'll see that persons views and, off course, they are always right OR it is an unofficial biography and there's a lot of gossip in it, untruths and speculations by 3rd parties.
This book is not bad, there's loads of stuff the real Jagger / Stones fan already knows which, off course is logical if you look at how many books there are about Jagger / Stones already. At least Sandford has a nice way of writing and presenting. It's a nice read and probably a good way to start if you want to know something about Jagger. Sandford did interview loads of people to try to give an image of who Mick Jagger is.
