Les Edgerton's manly yet evocative prose grabs you with the very first pages only to leave you shocked and exasperated a few hours later. The Death of Tarpons - an emotional coming-of-age drama with some truly tough-to-read parts - is no exception, and some readers may actually find it the author's best novel yet.
