I was so happy to get approved for the last part in the Willow Cottage series, I had been holding on waiting to hear the last of Beth and Carly's story so this was just perfect. This part of the book wraps up their adventures as well as future so lovely, I had hopes at the end of the last part about how I wished it would end and I was overjoyed that it was even better than I could have hoped. This was the first book I had read by Bella and I know it wouldn't be the last as it has made me so happy to have read the two girls stories. Plus I have also bought the paperback as I found the cover truly stunning.

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the Publishers, Avon Books, for these review copies given in exchange for an honest review.

This book was originally released in four separate parts for the Willow Cottage series, with the whole book released at a later date. This review is for the last two parts, A Spring Affair and Summer Delights. They can be read as separate standalones but I would advise to read them all and in order of the series.

So, following my review yesterday of the first half of the book this is the review for the last two parts. Without giving away any spoilers, we pick up in the story where Beth is still in the village and is still renovating Willow Cottage with a view to reselling and moving on with her young son Leo. The house, and possibly Jack, the only eligible male under 30, is the only thing that is keeping her in the village. Beth is still trying to keep a low profile to avoid being found by her ex, Nick. Will he eventually find her or is she safe in Willow Cottage?

This was a great end to a great book! I loved the suspense of whether Nick will find them and also the wondering whether Beth and Jack finally get it together. Also thrown in are some heart-breaking moments where it had me reaching for the tissues, but then had me cheered right up again with some very funny (and clever!) writing. The roping in of the Women’s Institute to help organise her friend, Carly’s, wedding was wonderful, particularly the two ladies arguing about the cakes!

I absolutely loved this story and was more than a little bit disappointed when I finished it! It would be nice to maybe at some point go back and visit Beth and Jack for another instalment but then again perhaps it should be left with the perfect ending it was given! Great writing by a great author – this was a wonderful feel good book!! Can’t wait for the next one!!

Willow Cottage is part four of a novel told in four parts. Each part is a delightful enjoyable view of country life in the Cotswold's. In this edition Beth and her young son are happily making a new life at Willow Cottage and have met a new neighbor Jack who they enjoy spending time with. This edition opens with a shocking scene and will have you on the edge of your seat reading furiously to find out if they are ok. As the story progresses will Beth and Jack find a mutual attraction as he helps her through a crisis and becomes a close friend she can trust?
The descriptions of country life and the lovely cottage with its challenges are delightful. I look forward to reading the next in series . The characterization is rich and the descriptions make this a enjoyable read with a sub plot of a mysterious background .
Thank you for the advance reading copy with gratitude.

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. I struggled with this book and was so confusing so really should have read the first 3 books hence the review would have been better

This last book for the series was as lovely as the previous one. All in all this WIllow Cottage Series was a very lovely read. A real page turner. I was so happy to start a new part every time. I am a little sad that part four was the last part. I would have loved to read more about Beth, Jack and Leo! Now I can't wait to read a brand new story from Bella Osborne!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this whole series of stories and part 4 gave us the perfect ending that I think we were all waiting very impatiently for throughout.

Each part ended with a whopper of a cliff hanger that left me so frustrated waiting for the next to be released, how cruel of the publishers to make us wait!

I would say that this is a fun and predictable read but there is one big twist at the end that i just did not see coming what so ever. This i felt made the story stand out from your average light romantic read and I must say I'm very excited to see what Bella Osbourne comes up with next!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I have loved this series. The ups and downs of Beth and Willow Cottage have been a real treat. The villagers are wonderful and I loved the tension introduced by Beth's ex.

A lovely book from a favourite author.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4☆ Not to be read as a stand alone!

Ok so here is my review!

I haven't read the other 3 parts!
I couldn't see any information to see if it was a stand alone book.
So I went ahead and read the book.

The book starts on chapter 34 which is really strange. Obviously now I understand why as each part will eventually make up a whole book.
Part 4 consists of chapters 34 - 45 and an Epilogue. Each chapter is very short.

I must say it matters a great deal if you haven't read any of the other books as I get the feeling part 4 starts where part 3 finished on an exciting end!

Chapter 34 (the start) sees Fergus lying in ICU after being hit over the head with a bottle. For reasons which are unclear to me.
This is why I believe part 3 gives a huge insight to this opening chapter!

A few chapters in and it's very fast paced, there is Fergus starting to be responsive and Beth being poisoned, plus a lost child and a mystery stranger.

I only wish now I had read the other books because judging by this final book part 4.... The Willow Cottage books are very very exciting and each one teasing the reader till the next instalment.

What a perfect way to keep a reader engaged and wanting more.
Each part working towards a whole book.
I think is a fabulous idea.
Sometimes reading a long book all at once the reader can become distracted.
But by splitting a whole book into parts keeps the chapters short and sweet and keeps the reader eagerly waiting for the next bit.

Reading just part 4 I missed out on so so much. All the juicy stories.
I have a feeling each character is very special.

I am now going to purchase 1-3 and read them all in order because judging by this last part I'm in for a TREAT!!
I can't wait!!

Do I recommend reading this book....... Ok I recommend reading the WHOLE of the Willow Cottage series 1-4.

I have a very good feeling about this series. If the ending is anything to go by.... I'm pretty sure the beginning and middle is going to be just as perfect!

I absolutely love this series of books and was waiting with bated breath for this, the final installment to be released. Transported back to the beautiful Cotswolds village in which Beth and Leo have found a home and friends and neighbours who care a great deal about them, the story picks up where it left off. Beth is in danger, Leo has gone missing and Nick, Beth's violent ex is on the prowl. Jack of course comes to the rescue, endangering himself in the process. Through in a wedding, a revelation and a long awaited joining of hearts and you have a thoroughly enjoyable read. I'm just sad this is the last one in the series.

I enjoyed the full installment of Willow Cottage having finished part four. I loved all the characters, the whole town came together and knew each other. I was glad to read about the wedding, it seemed fitting at the end. I really enjoyed the whole story but didn't like it being in four parts and having to wait for the next part to come out, I seemed to forget where the last book left off having read other books in between. I would recommend this book and love Bella Osborne, can't wait for her next one! Thank you for letting me read and review this book, it was a joy to read.

I loved this series and my only quibble is that I would have preferred it to have been published a single book, which it will later this year. This is the shortest of the novellas and you do need to have read the first three in order to fully appreciate the happy endings here. Beth and Leo, Jack, Carly, Fergus=you'll go through ups and downs with them and root for them and well, be very pleased with what ultimately happens. You'll also love the setting and the bright writing. THanks to Netgalley for the ARC. If you aren't reading this serially, definitely buy the full book when it comes out. It's a winner.

This was a lovely closing chapter for the Willow Cottage series. It has been a really heartwarming story with some very engaging characters that I will be sad to leave. Beth has been renovating Willow Cottage with Jack's help and he rescues her from a carbon monoxide leak. You get really wrapped up in the book, turning the pages, smiling and laughing in turn as Beth needs to get the local Women's Institute involved with a big event with some amusing consequences.

Leo is really settling into village life and you are rooting for him to get his happy ever after childhood.
The village sounds so idyllic and the neighbours are really interesting characters. You can imagine moving in and settling down very quickly in your own personal idyllic cottage.

I'm eagerly awaiting Bella Osborne's next book.

Willow Cottage Part Four: Summer Delights

And so we come to the final part of the Willow Cottage series…and what an ending. As you would hope, all the various story lines are tied up, but not before the readers passions are put through the wrangler a number of times.

When we left the series, Beth was lying unconscious in her cottage, though through fair means or foul, we knew not; her best friend Carly didn’t know whether her fiancé Fergus would live or die after being attacked; lurking in the background was the spectre of Beth’s ex-boyfriend Nick (who cast a slowly lengthening shadow over this series) threatening the happiness of all. You may say that Ms Osborne has decided to put all our emotions through the mill, you would be quite right.

As anyone who has read my reviews of anyone’s books knows, that is as about as much as I would normally say about the story…and I’m not making any exceptions here. Go somewhere else if you want to know more about the story; better yet, go and order it as I know you won’t be disappointed – I’ve just ordered the omnibus paperback myself. Suffice to say, Ms Osborne is a master at the emotional heart-tug (I don’t know if that’s an expression ever used before, but I like it, so go with me) and I can’t wait for her next foray.

I have followed the authors’ writing from her debut publication until this latest series, and it’s always good to follow the progress of a writer and all the more gratifying when you can see the growth in their writing. I am so pleased to say that it is the belief of this reviewer that the upper echelons of the Contemporary Romance genre has a new member with the closure of this series of novellas. Katie Fforde, Sue Moorcroft, Trisha Ashely, Jill Mansell, Carole Matthews, please draw up a fresh chair at your table for Ms Osborne.

My thanks to Avon for allowing this reviewer to read this story.

Here I am at the final part of the Willow Cottage series. I was hooked from the start and rather impatient to keep reading what was happening next, because of the breaks but at last I can find out what happens to Beth, Leo, Jack, Carly and Fergus.

Things were looking up for the main characters towards the end of the part three, but here we open the conclusion not knowing what is going to happen.

Willow Cottage despite the many teething problems seems to have affected Beth and Leo much more than they thought and it takes Jack to rescue them from it all. But no matter what Jack does, he cannot seem to do it right and it is with heavy heart that Beth puts the cottage on the market.

She is still running away to protect her son, Leo but more importantly herself. Trouble is her friend Carly decides that she wants Beth help in getting married within weeks. Running away now suddenly does not become an option for Beth.

As everything comes together the past rears its ugly head and has some surprising effects on many of the village residents. It is time to make some decisions and take a risk and make some happy ever afters!

This is a lovely escapist novel and with some perhaps surprising turns within the story it still finished with all the ends tied up and lovely heartwarming feeling.

Warning is this part four of a serialized story. Overall the part is well written with like able characters.

Part 3 left on a cliffhanger with Fergal being in hospital after being attacked by a man with a bottle in a pub and Beth in a coma from carbon dioxide poisoning from her boiler. Luckily both events turn out ok but where is Leo has he been abducted by the odious Nick?

With a wedding to plan for Carly in 4 weeks Beth is in full swing with the help of the village and the WI....and of course the lovely Jack! So everything is back to normal in the village.....but will Beth finally get together with Jack and will Nick get his comeuppance?

A great end to the series with all ends nicely tied up - I have really enjoyed all four of the books and love the style of Bella Osborne - definitely great beach reads

Willow cottage Part 4 was another fab book by Bella. I couldn't put it down I've read it in a day. I enjoyed revisiting Dumbleford to find out what happens to every one. I loved each of the books in the series and book number four did not disappoint me. I'm only sad there will be no more as each one had me hooked. 5++++ stars for me I loved it.
