The final installment of the Cedarwood series - I think I left it too long between parts 2 and 3 as I had forgotten some of the storylines. Lesson learnt there. I did enjoy it though catching up and always love a happy ending.

I realized this wasn't a book that would work for me before I downloaded it. Clearing out my backlog of Archived, Not Downloaded.

Loving this series. Full of great characters and fab writing. Will be reviewing fully as part of the full book review rather than for each part of the series.

An emotionally stunning, but delightful conclusion to this romantic holiday e series!

This last installment in the Cedarwood Lodge e-series brings friends and family together for the holidays and finally resolves the age- old mystery of why Clio’s mom has such strong feelings about Cedarwood Lodge and explains why she held back from forging a solid relationship with her daughter. Warning… this storyline will require a box of tissues.

The romances that have developed over the course of the series have developed and I am so happy they were able to resolve some big issues and can begin enjoying their lives together.

But, what about Clio and Tim? Or will it be Clio and Kai? Well, you’ll have to read the book to find out! However, I promise you will be very happy as the book closes with a promising, upbeat and heartwarming conclusion.

It goes without saying that you must read the first two installments to fully enjoy this book, and I highly recommend doing that.

I really enjoyed this e-series as a whole, and had fun reading it in increments, which gave me something to look forward to and because it was easy to work the installments into my busy holiday schedule.

I came to love and care for all the characters and hope to hear from them again someday. The story is, as always, well written and one that appeals to contemporary romance, chick-lit and women’s fiction readers, and is one that will appeal to anyone who enjoys a sweet, touching story.

Firstly I am really REALLY gutted this is the last book in the Cedarwood Lodge series. I hope that Rebecca Raisin will take on how popular this series has been and revist at some point in the future.
In the last part of the story, Clio and the gang are gearing up for a party centered around Christmas Day and the New Year. I really loved Armory's storyline and how things will now change for her and Aunt Bessie was just a delight and an added bonus. Again great descriptions of the lodge and its interrior, aswell as always delicious food.
Rebecca Raisin, always has a way with words and makes us instantly fall in love with her charactors and their lifestyle. I feel with Clio I am leaving a friend behind as I have grown very fond of her. Its hard to write too much without giving the storyline away and spoiling it. This means you have to read it and my advice to to start at Book 1 otherwise you will miss out on so much.
We finally get some answers around the mystery of the maze. Plus a lot of loose ends are tied up nicely to any unanswered questions.
A great wrap up to an amazing series. There must be more we can visit at Cedarwood Lodge? Surly?.

Raisin's writing always makes me smile. This last installment in the series should not be read as a standalone because you won't appreciate how things developed. It's a fast, cheery read that's just right to relax especially if you've read the first two. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC.

I think I would have enjoyed this series more if I had read the first two books before picking up this one. I didn't have any trouble following the story but I'm wishing I had more background on the other two couples who were very prevalent in this story. Cleo has return to her hometown to help the family at Cedarwood Lodge. This story is set with Cleo and her mother (they are working on their relationship) planning a New Year's celebration for their friends, family and guests. Lots of sweet romance and I'm guessing readers of the first two books will be thrilled with revisiting the characters in this story line. Rebecca Raisin writes quality wholesome romance that keeps the readers happy

So here it is, the final installment in Rebecca Raisin's delightful Christmas series. I can't quite believe that Christmas is over and that I have read all three of these books already. It feels like yesterday that we were singing around our apartment and announcing their release! My how time flies!

In book three 'Midnight and Mistletoe,' Clio is gearing up for Christmas with her family and friends, as well as looking forward to the new year and the bookings that have already started coming in for weddings at Cedarwood lodge. Before the weddings though, Clio has a big new years eve party to plan on short notice and she also has to see how Christmas goes with her Mum. Things are still a bit of a strain between them and now to top it all off, Clio is hiding the fact that Isla found the maze in the grounds of Cedarwood, that seems to upset her Mum so much. Not telling her doesn't feel right, but Clio doesn't want to ruin Christmas, so she keeps it to herself for the time being. At least she thinks that's the case, what she doesn't expect is for Isla to tell her Mum herself, in a burst of excitement about what she's found in the garden she keeps. How will Clio's Mum react? Is this going to push them further apart or can Clio finally help her Mum mend old wounds? If that wasn't enough on her plate, everyone at Cedarwood is happy and loved up apart from Clio. She's enjoying seeing so much romance in the air but while her and Kai have exchanged a few kisses here and there, she is still as confused as ever and doesn't know what to do. Can she finally tell him how she feels or will he leave after new year and she have left it too late?
This was a wonderful last installment from Rebecca Raisin's Cedarwood Lodge series. All of the individual stories I had been so eager to see come together did, in a very lovely and emotional way. I was happy to finally find out what had happened all those years ago at Cedarwood to make Clio's Mum so closed off and cold. It was a heartbreaking story but I was glad to see Clio able to help her Mum in small ways so that their relationship could move forward, as there really was so much love between the two of them.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing each relationship in this story blossom, especially Armory and Cruz's. They both seemed so sweet together. I liked that they were taking baby steps to give each other a little of what they both wanted to make things work between them. As for Clio and Kai...will they, won't they? You have to read to find out!!
My favourite character I have to say would be Aunt Bessie, she was so vibrant and kind that I couldn't help but just love her. To me she was the positivity in the room, someone who just wanted everyone to be happy and eat her delicious doughnuts. Everything from her clothes, to her make up, to her talent for magnificent doughnut towers, had me smiling and wishing I could help her in the kitchen baking her famous treats! I couldn't promise half of the doughnuts would make it to the shop front though!
Rebecca Raisin has a knack for creating wonderful little towns full of amazing people who you just want to get to know and then never leave. Spending Christmas and New Year at Cedarwood lodge was a bookworm's paradise, which I'm certain you will enjoy all year round. I for one can not wait for Rebecca's next book. She is a book lovers dream! :)

Great to be back at Cedarwood Lodge for the final part. Clio is busy arranging a New Year's Eve party for a client who keeps changing his mind on theme, food etc and so is really busy trying to sort it all without having a nervous breakdown, but always on the perimeter is her feelings for Kai - does he return them and can she let herself go and admit to her feelings.

Clio's mother is beginning to let down her guard and finally shares her heartbreaking story of her time at Cedarwood Lodge and the explanation of why she has always been so remote and distant. Aunt Bessie meantime is becoming the most unlikely internet sensation!

A lovely final part tying up all of the loose ends and providing a great new Year

Midnight and Mistletoe At Cedarwood Lodge is on short sweet story, that has previous stories, which I have not read, but as I understand, they all had Clio as one of the characters. She has been the party planner in New York, but be course some misunderstanding she returned to Cedarwood Lodge, bought it and started to renovate it and is planing to open it to tourist's soon.

Although the story starts with Clio and her friends eating too much for breakfast after Christmas and then going to Clio's aunt's house to eat too much for lunch, this gluttony is not the only thing that is happening in this book. The main story is about Clio, Clio's mothers problems with Cedarwood and the mase behind it and in addition there are two young men who try to win Clio's heart even if she has given her heart to one of them a long time ago already.

And after the food hangower has past, Clio and her friends/coworkers start to organise an New Year party to Clio's once-boyfriend's boss. The client is picky and changes his whishes at a last minute, and there is a young pup in a house, and Clio's mum finally comes to tell her her problems with the Cedarwood Lodge ...

... it all works out fine at the end. Clio opens her heart finally and year and a half later everybody has got exactly what they wanted.

Short, sweet and sometimes too much politically correct and environmentally caring (sometimes not enough caring) story. Reminded me a lot of Alice Clayton' Rusty Nailed.

Midnight and Mistletoe at Cedarwood Lodge by Rebecca Raisin

Category Book review

In brief: The final part in the Cedarwood Lodge trilogy reveals all – what is the secret of Cedarwood’s past? Will Clio and Kai ever get together?
The good: 100% delightful.
The not-so-good: The end of the series.
Why I chose it: Love Rebecca Raisin’s books – thanks HQ Digital for the eARC!
Year: 2016
Pages: 109
Publisher: HQ Digital
Setting: Evergreen, USA
My rating: 9.5 out of 10
The final part in the Cedarwood Lodge trilogy takes us to what is for some the laziest part of the year between Christmas and New Year – and for others, the busiest. Clio definitely falls into the latter as old flame Timothy asks her to put on a fancy New Year’s Eve party for his boss in order to impress. The group of friends and family celebrate Christmas together, with Amory getting a surprise present – a dog. Is this a plan by Cruz to entice her towards children or simply a sweet present?
Even though it’s chilly in Evergreen, tensions and relationships are thawing. Clio’s mum finally opens up to her about the events at Cedarwood Lodge so long ago, which results in a sweet reunion between mum and daughter. Aunt Bessie learns how to use Instagram, gaining an instant cult following for her Puft doughnuts that grows exponentially. And Clio…she’s torn between revealing her feelings for Kai and risking rejection as he deals with the real reason he came to the US. Plus, Timothy is no longer hinting at a reconciliation, he’s laying his cards out in full. All this comes as Amory and Clio set about organising the New Year’s Eve party, finding out at the last minute that Timothy’s boss likes to change his mind…a lot. It also gives Timothy the excuse to email Clio constantly with follow up phone calls…who will Clio choose?
The finale of the series is everything the reader could wish for – more of the Rebecca Raisin trademark sparkle and warmth, plus all the loose ends tied up in a satisfying bow. I’ve enjoyed my time with Clio, Amory, Kai, Cruz and the others…I’ll particularly miss Aunt Bessie, who is the second best foodie character after CeeCee of The Gingerbread Café. It’s been a set of charming reads, wonderful to sit and relax with over the holidays. I’ll miss the lodge, but I can’t wait to meet the next set of characters Rebecca Raisin creates as they will definitely be memorable!

Oh Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca! I am sitting here at 3 minutes past midnight having just finished what I think may be your best story to date.

I have tears in my eyes probably mascara under them but I don't care. I've decided the Panda look is in.

This is the third and final chapter of the Cedarwood Lodge series and what a way to end it. This book begins on Christmas day and takes us all the way up to New Years Eve.

The staff at the lodge are planning a big NYE party for Timothy's boss Vinnie but Vinnie is one tricky customer at the worst time of year for getting items quickly.

As well as the party planning we finally get to find out Clio's mum's big secret. I have to say I didn't see it coming but man did it get to me.

I won't ruin any of the story but this book is filled with sweet, tender moments that will make your heart sing. It's the perfect end to a wonderful series and I cannot wait to see what Rebecca brings for us in the new year.
