In ‘High Impact Fee Negotiation and Management for Professionals’, Ori Weiner keeps it interesting about all the options available to professionals who use fee-based structure. The author breaks common myths and assumptions. Weiner also shows how time based is fee is a double edged sword. And still law firms use it, because some complex work is not easily estimated otherwise. I was reminded of how changes trigger new costs for example any change later during building a house.
Many visual aids in terms of matrix, classification and summaries illustrate the points clearly. One of my favorites is the mismatch between what the professional wants and client provides in terms of details of the project.
The Negotiation part is riveting too with so many things to consider.
