Once upon a time I discovered Chekhov's short stories and it led me down a rabbit hole of Russian literature. This book allowed me to relive my passion for those novels I cherished long ago. Unlike them, the book is brief, but it will appeal to people who enjoy Russian literature or those who read prison narratives.
