This book is okay, but I was expecting a little more and overall found this lacking. It's not bad, but could have been better.
I thought this book had some interesting recipes in it - but also many that I felt I'd seen in other places before. I did like the easy-to-read and clear layout and it was good to have pictures of the dishes so you could see to what you were aspiring! It was also good to see sensible nutrition and eating advice - no demonisation of particular food groups or ingredients.
I got the feeling this book would be one that would be small and that you might find sold at supermarkets, near the checkouts - something a shopper might grab as a good little book if they're in need of some new healthy recipes that they might not have tried previously!
Thank you for this book. I am not sure if it will be different in the for sale copy, but this copy lacks a clickable table of contents or any way to navigate around the book other than going page by page which makes it difficult to navigate. The recipes have some US measures along with the other ones, but not all of them, which is od - it gives oz and g, but only gives litres for fluid measures. I am not impressed. I will not post a negative review though. Good luck with the book.
