A lovely story of a woman trying to re-establsih herself and find her own way after the death of her husband. Set.in the 1950s, it's also a good look at the artistic community in London, Penelope discovers that she's more than she thought, with no thanks, btw, to some of those she thought were her friends. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A good read.
