A well written book by Roderic Jeffries. Good characterisation and a plot filled with intrigue and a little bit of political corruption. I liked the character of PC Wells and his fight to clear his name. A gentle read. Many thanks to Net Galley for my copy. I reviewed on Goodreads and Amazon.
