The latest and I believe one of the best in the DS Lorimer series. He faces unprecedented challenges and we learn more about the personal affect that the battle against crime has on our police forces. His battle with the demons is an eye-opener. Yet again his team and family involvement is crucial to the plot. Being originally from the area all the sites and names are familiar to me which makes me lose myself in these novels even more. Only bad thing is need to wait another year for the next !!!
