I'm not exactly sure who the audience of this adaptation is. It says it is for children, yet it features long blocks of text and is written in language that is just elevated enough to be confusing to kids. The drawings are uninspired, and I don't know why children would be reading Macbeth or Romeo & Juliet. Just no.

This is a great adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. I just finished teaching it with my freshman and I think that this would be a nice addition for the kids who really struggle with the story.
