Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too romance heavy for me, I didn't appreciate it and I wasn't invested in the plot at all
I received a free electronic copy of this novel from Netgalley, the estate of Marguerite Steen, and "Endeavour Press, Odyssey Press in exchange for an honest review. Thank you all, for sharing your hard work with me.
This novel was first published in 1928 by Geoffrey Bles. As always, Marguerite Steen tells a fine tale. That said, I found myself disappointed in the ending of this novel. Or perhaps my disappointment was more in content, as this novel follows actors and others involved in entertainment, albeit 1920's English entertainment. Still a good, solid read, and gold for those who enjoy peeking in on those trodding the planks.
