No safe place by Matt Hilton.
Joe Hunter Thrillers Book 11.
Andrew Clayon's wife has been murdered and, worse, he's a suspect. But when people start vandalising his house, he needs to protect his son. A kind detective says she knows just the man.
Joe Hunter can certainly see why the police suspect Clayton, but takes the job anyway. Yet who is he protecting the young boy from? And why?
Clayton knows more about his wife's murder, but he isn't saying. And when his silence places everyone, including the boy, in the killer's sights, nowhere is safe...
I really enjoyed this book. Great story and characters. I liked Joe character. I'm looking forward to the next book. 4*.

Another great action thriller in the Joe Hunter series. Move over Jack Reacher.
Loved the incident with the guard dog which Matt (author) states actually did happen to him in real life as a serving police constable. Can't believe he waited until book 11 to put this in.
Well done Matt and thanks to Netgalley for sending me the ARC.
I really enjoyed this thriller. I'm not quite sure how I've missed this series up to book eleven! I will be buying the earlier books and working hard to catch up.
Another Matt hilton classic!!! Love the series can't wait further next installment.
Another rollercoaster ride from Matt Hilton..Book 11 in the Joe Hunter series but equally comfortable as a stand alone also. I loved the incident with the guard dog and chuckled aloud at that chapter! Matt Hilton is an amazing and vivid story teller. The book is full of action and fast paced. many thanks to Net Galley for my copy. I reviewed on Amazon and Goodreads.
While I enjoyed this book I found it to also drag in places and not be quite as engaging as previous writings by Matt Hilton. But he is still a great author and I look forward to more.
Wow! What a thrilling ride! Matt Hilton is a new author for me, but I am so glad I've been introduced to him through his latest installment in the Joe Hunter series! The high octane, action-packed plot is complex with twists and red herrings that keep the reader fully engaged- and guessing- until the end.! The author use of outstanding imagery makes each and every scene vividly alive! Protagonist Joe Hunter's character is a dynamic, deeply flawed one with self deprecating humor and gutsy instincts. Lesser known Joe Hunter is right up there with John Puller and Jack Reacher! Although this can be a stand alone, I am enthralled with the characters and will be reading the series from the beginning! I am hooked on Hunter! Electrifying! Bravo, Mr. Hilton!
