I adored the main setting for this story and immediately was transported to the beach huts by the sea. The main part of the story relates to Zac who went missing on the night of his birthday..

Sisters, Chloe and Megan, return to their parents' house near the beach after the death of their parents in an accident and after receiving a picture postcard from the area, Whitecliff signed 'Z'.

There is an animosity between the townsfolk who struggle to get by and the holiday group, whom they need to keep going. All through the book there was an underlying feel of secrets and lies. The two girls want to find out what happened to their brother but the more questions they ask, the more unwelcome the villagers make them feel.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes books that you get involved in a story and try to work out the truth from lies.

I was really looking forward to reading this book having enjoyed the others that I have read so far by Kerry and I wasn't disappointed with this one. It was a good solid plot and I liked the main character of Megan and her background, suspicious nature, abrupt responses and ability to hold her own whilst still fighting internal battles.  The location was well described and it does sound like a place you could visit even though it is fictional.  Definitely one that I would recommend 4 stars from me for this one.

This book was wonderful, there were lots of twists and turns that I didn't see coming so it kept me engaged all the way through the book. I really had a hard time putting this one down, I really enjoyed the story and the characters were all very complex and hard to read so kept me guessing. Awesome read.

No surprise that Two Sisters is another five stars for Kerry Wilkinson. While dealing with issues that could be close to home for many people we are kept in suspense right to the end. A continuous page turner. Thank you netgalley.

Tragedy appears to follow sisters Megan and Chloe around with the recent deaths of their parents and the disappearance of their older brother Zac ten years previous. Now the sisters have travelled to the cottage their parents owned to get things in order before selling up. But the cottage in Whitecliffe is where Zac dissapeared from all those years before and Megan is determined to get to the bottom of it.
Two Sisters is the first book I have read by author Kerry Wilkinson and what a story it was. I must admit it did feel to me that it took a while to get into it however, I think the slow burn of this book suited it well as it didnt give anything away and left me guessing how it was going to end right up to the last few pages which is sometimes a rarity in books such as these. I would reccomend that fans of the author and genre give this book a read, you wont be disappointed.

What a roller coaster ride this book was. I wanted to help Megan with her issues but also wanted to help her find out what happened to her brother Zac. The writer makes you want to trust everyone except one or two people in the book, the ending with the different people involved was not what I expected. This book was very well written and had me keep turning the pages until the end.

A great psychological thriller that I would highly recommend.
Thank you to Bookouture and Netgalley for the copy.

i must say I cannot believe that I did not know about Kerry Wilkinson before. I have now read three of his books. Each of these books were totally different. He is an amazingly talented writer.

Megan was 10 years old when her brother Zac disappears in Whitecliff. No one has ever found him. Her parents passes away and she received a postcard in the mail with just the letter Z on it. Megan and her sister Chloe return to Whitecliff under the prentense of sorting out their parent's affairs but Megan is really there to get some answers about her brother's disappearance.

This book was really amazing! It kept me gripped and one could actually feel the menace in that town. This was due to the skillful writing of the author. The descriptions and imagery were excellent. The characters were real. They had some real issues. I do not want to give too much away but gives some insight into the very real problems that people have. It actually gave me a better understanding of these things. It is amazing how the authors weaves the tale and it just keeps the reader engrossed and everything was never what it seemed.

An absolutely brilliant book, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely brilliant! Kerry Wilkinson has done it again! Every single one of his books are unputdownable and this one is no different. From the very first page, I was enthralled. Loved Megan and Chloe. Felt for them both, especially Megan. What a voice - loved her character, her feisty nature, her problems and her vulnerability that she hides behind her prickly exterior. Stunning book - would highly recommend this to everyone.

Ten years ago, Megan's brother Zac goes missing in the seaside town of Whitecliff. He was never found. Now, after losing their parents in a car accident, Megan and Chloe head back to Whitecliff for the first time in a decade. Supposedly to get their parents' affairs in order but Megan has other plans. She has come for answers. In such a small community, surely someone must know what happened to Zac all those years ago.

Now, Whitecliff. Sounds idyllic, doesn't it? Well, you'd be wrong. It is the creepiest of creepy villages ever. On the surface, it all looks normal but underneath there's something bubbling that's just not quite right and the author does a brilliant job in creating that slightly eery atmosphere. It's that feeling you get when you know something's coming but you don't know what.

Two Sisters has a slow-burning and intense plot with a host of incredibly well developed and realistic characters. It took me a while to get into this book. The pace was a bit too slow for me at the start but that didn't mean I wasn't gripped. Obviously, I too wanted to know what happened to Zac all those years ago and while I had an idea of some of the things going on in the village, I couldn't figure out how these events were connected.

Megan isn't the most likeable character ever. She's flawed, complex and has a lot of issues. But I could totally sympathise with her and admired her dogged determination to find out the truth. There are a lot of skeletons in various closets and of course there are twists and turns. Although some I felt were a tad predictable, there were also some I didn't see coming at all.

This is my first introduction to Kerry Wilkinson. I know, right? Where the heck have I been? But it definitely won't be my last!

Fantastic book by Kerry Wilkinson. I'm a huge fan anyway of the jessica daniels series so was intrigued by this stand alone book. Kerry writes female characters so well, they have depth and real feelings, Megan is no exception. In the quest to find her missing brother and solve some of her own questions about her past, will she risk losing it all instead?

This is the first novel I have read by this author and I will certainly be reading more of his books in future after reading Two Sisters.

Two Sisters is one of those dark and brooding reads. It’s like a pan of water on the stove, gently simmering until all of a sudden it’s bubbling away at a rapid speed.

I felt really sorry for Megan and Chloe. They have lost their older brother ten years before and haven’t had the most perfect relationship with their parents who sadly have both just lost their lives in a car crash. They are still relatively young and Megan feels like she has to be even more in control so that she can take care of her younger sister.

I have to admit I found parts to be uncomfortable due to Megan’s eating disorder. I think it’s brave of the author to tackle such a tough subject in his novel but I personally felt he handled it very well. It’s not something that I have experienced first hand so it gave me some real insight into how someone feels and why they would do what they do when it comes to food. Definitely an eye opener.

I loved the whole setting of the story and could easily visualise the village and the day to day life there. With it being a small village, Megan and Chloe get a very mixed response at them coming back to the cottage. Some seem to friendly where as others make it clear they are not wanted. It is obvious that there are many secrets hidden there and I was as desperate as Megan to find out.

Two Sisters is quite a lot of things. It’s about relationships, lies, deceit and trying to remain in control. Its a very dark read for many reasons but one that will have the reader hooked from the start. This was a great introduction to a new author to me and I can not wait to read more.

Megan was only ten when her older brother, Zac disappeared and was believed to have drowned after a mishap in the seaside town of Whitecliff. Ten years after, with her parents killed in a car crash, Megan and her sister Chloe return to Whitecliff to sort out their parent estate. At least that’s what Megan says. the truth is she has returned to the town for the first time since her brother disappeared because she has received a mysterious postcard from Whitecliff in the mail. The postcard is signed simply, Z. Z for Zac? Megan returns to find out what really happened the day Zac disappeared and find out why her parents lied to her. Slow, steady suspense will keep readers turning the pages

Excellent read. I'm a big fan of the author's Jessica Daniels series so was not sure what to except with this but was not disappointed. The story keeps you page turning, I read this book in one sitting! The main plot keeps you guessing and the main character's condition is dealt with very well and you have a real affinity with the her. Great standalone read
