Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

I loved this book. I loved Jubilee Aja and Eric. I loved the simplicity of the near romance of it. Jubilee has the best development ever, from being a recluse unable to be touched, to being touched, kissed, and no longer a recluse. I loved the slight awkwardness of her. I felt for her, and really couldn’t imagine being her. The writing style of the book is fabulous and just amazing. It kept me gripped from the first page, and it really made me connect with the characters and want the best things for them.

I really cannot explain why I've enjoyed this book as much as I did.

Jubilee as a character has a hell of a development. She goes from being this recluse, to this shining star in her own fairy tale. Eric helps with this development in the best way he can, and the chemistry between them is immense. Aja makes things in the book that bit brighter, he was great with Jubilee and they all work well as a trio.

I cannot wait to see what else this author has to offer

A book you're guaranteed to fall in love with.

Jubilee Jenkins is 27 years old and she's allergic to people. She can't be touched or held by a person. It's a rare allergy and it makes her life enormously difficult and leads to many humiliating encounters. After high school, she refused to leave the house. It has been nine years since. Is this all there is to her life? All there will ever be?

A book for teens and older adults.

I loved this book, it was perfect- the romance was there but there was a unique story developed around it with an endearing character right in the centre of it. While reading, I was reminded of other favourites of mine: Penelope (the film- how she's kept hidden away) and Matilda by Roald Dahl (both Jubilee and Matilda had a shared love of reading.) The best seller, Me Before You by Joyo Moyes also came to mind: Louisa Clark had a similar small world perspective as Jubilee and, Will Traynor was forced to live it. The Memory of Flora Banks was another one: both are extraordinary stories- and really, the extraordinary ones are the best kind. Finally, Under Rose-Tainted Skies (the first book I read on agoraphobia).

This is a book you'll stay up late to finish, you'll wish to read it in one sitting but you'll also not want it to end. I'll definitely be reading more of Colleen Oakley's books.

I received this book through NetGalley.

I really enjoyed this book, I liked Jubilee a lot. Only thing that ruined it was the ending!! After 7 years Eric walked back in her life and they got together. 7 years !!
She went through all that treatment by herself and with Michael supporting her as well. Eric didn't even know she was cured. No I didn't like Eric.
Apart from that it was a good read.
