I really enjoyed seeing how Kelsey worked to get her business noticed and worked at proving that she was needed to the businesses that she was trying to work with. Kelsey is working with the Pink Palace Museum and finds herself in over her head when her security measures have to turn to investigating a murder and to working with Detective Brad Hollister. Having visited the Pink Palace it was easy to imagine the scenes and that made it a bit more interesting. This book will keep you guessing until the end.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher, the review is entirely my own.

I am already a fan of Patricia Bradley so it wasn’t a huge surprise to me that Justice Buried was such a great book. But what I found especially interesting and refreshing was this particular story had much more of a Sandra Orchard (Serena Jones Series) type of feel.
The mystery and suspense combined with the developing romance was very well written and the characters were likable. The who-done-it kept me flipping pages. Although Justice Buried is book two in the Memphis Cold Case Series, and I haven’t yet read Justice Delayed (book one), I was able to follow along with the storyline without issue.
Kelsey Allen is spunky and fearless. She refuses to back down from whoever is determined to keep her quiet. Brad Hollister is the best kind of protector and his own personal life seems to be coming together. But what he thought he once wanted, now does not have the same appeal. Together, they’re a formidable team and they’re relentlessly pursuing the answers needed to close the cold case file on Kelsey’s deceased father.
I thoroughly enjoyed Justice Buried and give it five out of five stars.

Justice Buried is book 2 in the Memphis Cold Case series by Patricia Bradley. You can read it as a stand alone novel. The opening scene will capture your attention and your interest in Kelsey. Kelsey aka Phantom Hawk has been sneaking into buildings leaving her calling card to prove the issues with their security systems. She is an avid rock climber and a white-hat (good guy) hacker.
One of my favorite scenes is when Brad meets her for the Pink Palace fund raiser. Their mothers set it up based on their friendship and her crush on him in high school. I thought they had great chemistry from the very beginning.
They mystery and suspense were very well done. There are plenty of suspects and it is very difficult to determine the good guys from the bad guys; to include her dad.
Patricia created a relatable and enjoyable relationship between Kelsey and her sister Sabra.
Patricia was able to surprise me with some twists and turns and I love that in a mystery.

In an effort to get her security consulting business off the ground, Kelsey Allen has been spending a lot of time up in the air, rappelling down buildings and climbing through windows to show business owners their vulnerabilities to thieves. When she is hired to pose as a conservator at the Pink Palace Museum in order to test their security weaknesses after some artifacts go missing, she's ecstatic. But when her investigative focus turns from theft to murder, Kelsey knows she's out of her league--and possibly in the cross hairs. When blast-from-the-past Detective Brad Hollister is called in to investigate, Kelsey may find that he's the biggest security threat yet . . . to her heart.

Kelsey had a secret crush on Brad Hollister when they were lab partners in high school. She overheard him telling someone she was a disaster and she has not liked him since. Now they are forced to work together. Kelsey is witness to not one murder but two. Now her life is in danger as well as her family. As Brad tries to keep Kelsey alive and solve the murders he is also looking into the cold case disappearance of her father.

I recommend this book to all mystery buffs.

Book 2 in the Memphis Cold Case series is even better than the first!

Kelsey Allen is determined for her dream of having her very own security firm to come true. But at what cost... will she even be willing to go so far as to break the law to make it happen? Kelsey has something to prove to the people that she wants to hire her. When theft occurs at the museum, she is asked to work undercover to prove her security expertise. However, when someone is murdered in the museum, theft becomes the least of her worries. When Kelsey's former high school crush, Detective Brad Hollister shows up on scene, she's not sure if he will believe her motive to prove herself in the security field. Brad wants to believe that he can trust Kelsey, but she keeps showing up at the wrong place at the wrong time. Does she really want his help... or is she just using him?

This was a great read! Patricia Bradley does a great job of throwing enough suspects in the mix to keep you guessing. Kelsey was a great character, very unique and very much a dare-devil! Also, when a former love interest returns, the author did a great job of not turning that side of the story into a love triangle. This story was just an overall fun read!

Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley is book 2 in the Memphis Cold Case Series. I loved book 1 in this series and was so excited to read book 2. This book tells the story of Kelsey Allen, a woman of many talents, who is trying to boost her security consulting business by attempting daring stunts. She is trained as a museum curator, has amazing computer hacking skills, and can rappel mountains or skyscrapers with ease. Kelsey uses all of these skills to help business see where they are most vulnerable to break-ins, both at their buildings and online. Just as Kelsey is about to go undercover at a museum, a murder occurs and everything becomes more dangerous. A strong link is made with her father who disappeared long ago. Can she solve the mystery and discover the museum’s security risks? At what personal risk? This book was Patricia Bradley at her best. It is quite different from book 1 but I enjoyed it just as much. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery. I received a digital copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest review.

Kelsey and Brad fill the pages with romance and intrigue as they work to determine what is happening at the Pink Palace Museum. Highly recommended read.

The genre of Christian suspense/thriller has been one of my favorites to read for a long time, so I was excited to read Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley. It's the second book in her Memphis Cold Case series, but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone novel. In fact, I didn't even know it was the second until after I read it!

This is a good, clean mystery with plenty of suspense and action. The plot isn't farfetched like suspense can be sometimes; it's something I could imagine actually happening, but at the same time it's very unique, which makes it keep your attention! It isn't an overly intense or complex plot, so it's easy to follow the characters and keep track of what's happening. The main characters, Kelsey and Brad, are real and relatable, with a good solid friendship. Although the book is technically romantic suspense, it's definitely more suspense than romance. The faith aspect is also pretty subtle, although it fit well with the story and doesn't feel preachy when it shows up. Overall, this is a really good book! I would recommend this book to fans of Irene Hannon or Terri Blackstock.

I enjoyed this novel. It is another good romantic suspense from Bradley.

I liked Kelsey, the main character. She is an enterprising and talented young woman, and a superb rock climber. She is working to find the lapses in security for businesses. Not only is she great at hacking, she can also repel from rooftops and sneak in windows left open. What she does is not illegal as she is hired by the company to find their chinks. That's hard to explain to the police when a murdered man is found in a building she invaded. I also liked Brad, the cold case policeman who helps Kelsey. I like how a fledgling romance develops between them.

The plot is a bit complex. Artifacts have gone missing from a Memphis museum and Kelsey goes undercover to identify the thief. Her father had been accused of stealing from the same museum after he went missing decades ago. Someone tries to kill Kelsey and the suspense heightens.

There is suspense in the novel, especially at the end. Much of the plot is about museum work and I wish that aspect of the novel had been more enlightening. Bradley did present many red herrings and it was hard to know who the culprit was until near the end.

I do recommend this novel to those who enjoy a character driven romantic suspense. There is a little bit about Christianity in the novel but none of the characters appear to really rely on Jesus.

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.

This story starts out very cryptically and the mystery just keeps growing. Kelsey, an adrenaline-junkie trying to set up a security consulting business, is determined to get to the bottom of it. She must be on the right track because soon she’s a target. There are many options for villains and it’s fun and satisfying trying to weigh through the clues right along with Kelsey.
Kelsey isn’t particularly likeable at first. She is difficult for no good reason with the police and uptight and snotty to her sister. However, I admired her tenacity and her adventurous spirit. She later starts thinking of others before herself and keeps her animosity more in check as she realizes she can trust others.
I loved the suspense and appreciated the growing friendship between Kelsey and Brad. Trying to figure out who the murderer/thief was kept me up late reading. I would recommend this book to any suspense lover.

I am reviewing a copy of Protocol through Revell and Netgalley:

In order to get her security counseling buissness off the ground Kelsey Allen has been spending a lot of time in the air. Rappelling down buildings, and climbing through Windows to show the buissness owners their vulnerabilities.

When Kelsey is hired to pose as the conservator to the Pink Palace Museum in order to test their security weakness after artifacts go missing she's ecstatic but soon her focus turns from theft to murder Kelsey knows she is out of her league.

Soon Kelsey Allen finds herself in the crosshairs of Detective Brad Hollister who is called to investigate and help Kelsey.

Will this open up the opportunity for love?

Find out in Justice Buried.

Five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

From the first pages of Justice Buried, I was onboard with Kelsey Allen’s plans for her future. She’s smart, brave, and maybe a little too cocky for her own good but her love for her family and her determination to prove herself make up for it.
But when a body is found and she is in danger of being implicated for it, she needs help. Enter Detective Brad Hollister. Kelsey has a slight bit of a history with Brad Hollister and the way the two meet up again is a bit humorous but Kelsey is thankful he’s in her life before long.
With plenty of suspects, a twenty-eight-year old disappearance, stolen items from a museum, and murders that keep piling up, Patricia Bradley kept me engrossed in this story. Everything ties together well and does not feel forced at all. A terrific read for fans of romantic suspense.

Justice Buried, is the second novel in Patricia Bradley’s Memphis Cold Case series. While mention is made of events from the first book, this book works well as a stand-alone read, and not enough mention is made to spoil the reader’s possible decision to read the first book after the second.
Diminishing funding for the arts and humanities has caused Kelsey Allen to move from working as a museum conservator out of her love for antiquities to opening her own security company working out of her love of climbing and cyber security. These loves allowed her to test her clients’ physical and technological security, then to help them fill in the gaps. Unfortunately, Kelsey may have seen more than she was meant to when assisting Rutherford Security, and now she seemed to be a walking target, placing her own family at risk.
Detective Brad Hollister kept women at arm’s length after being dumped by his fiancé who could not handle his work in the Memphis Police Department’s Homicide Unit. He was skeptical to say the least when Elle showed renewed interest in their relationship after hearing about his transfer to the Cold Case Unit. Still, he was determined to keep a professional distance as he became more deeply and deeply involved in Kelsey’s case which somehow seemed link to her father’s disappearance twenty-eight years ago.
Readers will find an abundance of suspects as they follow the clues in both past and current cases. Solving the mysteries before Brad and Kelsey do may not be so easy. Trying will keep them turning the pages and putting off other things. I thank NetGalley and Revell Books for providing me with a copy of Justice Buried in exchange for my honest opinion. I received no monetary compensation.

Justice buried was a gripping novel. It held me captivated through out. The twists in the story lube are impressive and complex but we'll written enough to follow. There is a subtle reference to faith that is real but not too much for non religious people.

Justice Buried is the second installment from Patricia Bradley’s Memphis Cold Case series. I have not read the first book in the series, so I believe can be read as a stand-alone. I did not feel like I was missing anything. However, I do plan to go back and read Justice Delayed in the near future.

I enjoyed Justice Buried. I thought the characters, Kelsey and Brad, were great. The plot is exciting, suspenseful, action packed, and romantic. It was hard to put the book down because I wanted to find out what would happen next.

I would give Justice Buried 4 ½ stars and highly recommend it.

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

I loved this book and couldn’t put it down. It had me hooked from the first page and didn’t let up until the final one. This book was suspenseful and definitely kept me on my toes. I tried really hard to figure out who was guilty but to no avail. I was really impressed with how well this book was written and with how complex the characters were.

Kelsey was amazing and I loved how tough and smart she was. I also liked that she was always braver than she gave herself credit for. Brad was also really tough and brave and the way they interacted and helped each other was fantastic to read. They both cared so much about their families and other people, even complete strangers, and their dedication to their families was refreshing.

I loved this book and it ended way too soon for me. Hopefully there will be another book in this series!

Kelsey is out to redeem her family name and secure a job in her chosen profession, security. Someone’s killed her boss, she can’t find her calling card, and who really knows what she was hired to do? Will she be accused of the murder?

Brad protects Kelsey as they determine who is out to kill her. What does she know that the killer doesn't want known?

Justice Buried is part of the Memphis Cold Case series. You can read this series in any order. They can be read as a stand alone. This story was well-researched, as Kelsey is an advanced level climber and there are several scenes where she climbs. As Kelsey is hired to check a building’s security, I could follow along with what she was doing. The story was not bogged down with technical jargon that I couldn't understand.

If you enjoy inspirational romantic suspense, you'll love Justice Buried. This is the first story of Patricia Bradley's I've read, but it won't be the last. The suspense kept building. The romantic elements didn't detract from the story. There were enough twists and turns I couldn't figure out who did it, but not so many I got confused. Justice Buried-a must-read inspirational suspense.

I received a free copy from Net Galley in the hope that I would mention/review it on my blog. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion - which I've done. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

JUSTICE BURIED is a clean read with a lot of suspense and just enough romance to please readers who want love story in the mysteries that they read. Kelsey has just been hired to work at the Pink Palace Museum to find out who is taking missing artifacts, but the job turns more dangerous when the man who hires her is killed the first day of her job. The position gets more and more dangerous and the police are convinced that Kelsey is in danger, so they put her in protective custody. Brad is determined to protect her at all costs, and Kelsey finds herself attracted to him, but he is already in a relationship with Elle. Kelsey is getting closer to finding out who the killer is because she had actually seen him the night of the murder, but her subconscious has blocked out his face. Under hypnosis, she is hopeful that she will remember the details of what she has seen. The suspects are closer than she knows or wants them to be and Kelsey is unsuspectiing of how much danger she is actually in until it is almost too late for Brad to come to her rescue. This is a heart-pounding thriller with a lot of romance in the mix that will definitely not disappoint!
