This book confused me to start with. I couldn't figure out how each of the characters I was reading about would come together to form the story. When they finally did the story took a bit of a manic turn to say the least.
I must admit, I did enjoy reading about the character of James Russo the most. At the end the author admits that he was the one who popped into her head one day and she began to form the whole story around him. The journey he goes on during the course of the book is one which you can't begin to imagine. He finds himself pulled from pillar to post, literally.
The conclusion of the story is quite spectacular, but I felt that everything was finished off in a way I liked. I would love to read more about Russo in the future.
