Running Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds was a beautiful and heartwarming read.
From the first few pages I was drawn in, I loved the writing and I loved both Fawn and Levi.
They made me laugh and they made me sigh, these two were a joy getting to know and I loved them together.

Overall, Running Into Love is a sweet, romantic read and a great start to the Fluke My Life series.
Looking forward to the next book.

Yet another winner by ARR! I couldn't put this one down because I loved the insta-love action so much.

Fawn and Levi were great together. I loved Fawn's awkwardness and Levi's sweetness. They were absolutely perfect together.

Their families... omg... especially their mom's, were hilarious! A lot of great LOL moments.

I can't wait to read Libby and Mac's stories.

For some reason, I find myself unable to resist downloading Aurora Rose Reynolds books. Even though her last several books have been more than a bit disappointing to me, I just can’t seem to stay away from them. So I went into Running Into Love with a fairly decent amount of skepticism. And the first couple chapters didn’t do much to alleviate that feeling…

AAR is fairly formulaic in her heros, heroines, and plots. You get different characters and different conflicts, but the heroines just about always face great peril - which the hero rescues her from. There’s a lot of running dialogue about who is wearing what, and how hawt the guys are, and how that affects the heroine. Only because the author can also do a great job of pulling emotion out of the characters and situations am willing to hear over and over again about how hard the heroine’s nipples get whenever she’s around the hero...

So imagine my surprise when this story - which is the first in a new series published by Montlake Romance (AAR has previously been self-published) - was completely different from anything else I’ve read by her. In a word, this book was fun. It started off a little silly, but then turned into a sweet, cute story about Fawn and Levi, with an entertaining sidecast of both their families.

What this book didn’t have: dysfunctional families, tragic backstories, insta-love with a superfast physical relationship, or over-the-top drama. And it was so flippin’ refreshing!!!

Fawn literally runs into Levi while she’s out running. With her eyes closed. Yes, the whole scene is a bit slapstick (and almost put me off the book from the get-go). She’s horrified when she discovers the incredibly good-looking man is her new neighbor. Further embarrassment ensues when she and her sisters are mistaken for prostitutes, and Levi is the investigating officer. The attraction between them is mutual, but Fawn is a little slow in accepting that Levi is interested in her. But he’s determined, and patient. He even tells her he’s not taking her to his bed until she realizes that things between them are serious (swoon!). Throw in wacky, intrusive families, and this was a thoroughly entertaining story.

I often find that books which are supposed to be humorous can seem more slapstick and ridiculous. However, I didn’t feel that was the case here. Fawn and Levi’s families provided some really funny situations. The humor felt natural and wasn’t forced. There wasn’t much else to the story (there is a side plot dealing with murdered prostitutes that Levi is investigating, and a sad situation with one of Fawn’s students), and I was actually okay with it. The humor did a good job of carrying the story along, and I was surprised by that.

I believe there will be two more books to this series - one for each of Fawn’s sisters. And I am anxiously awaiting them!

Avid Reader – ☆☆☆☆
M/F Romance

This is a sweet romance about finding the love of your life when you least expect it.

Fawn (the name, I had a hard time with – taking her seriously), but anyway, she was a carefree teacher who loves what she does. She hasn't had the best luck with relationships, so she has decided to just live her life, enjoy her family, and love on her kiddos.

Levi is a kind, gentle, sexy officer who can't get Fawn out of his head. When she literally takes him down while he's out running, he can't help but think that something might be wrong with her – I mean, who doesn't watch where they are going? He loves his family and knows that they want what's best for him. He has a small battle to get Fawn to see that he's truly interested.

The main characters complement each other and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆
This is without doubt a sweet and sexy read. Fawn and Levi meet under the strangest of circumstances and quickly recognise the connection – even if she wants to deny it.

I was interested in the outcome, even though there were times when I just wanted to understand the relevance of what I was being told – I still don't get why she was running with her eyes closed. I also have a few issues with the writing style, which was in no small part present tense, inner voice. I much prefer action to description, and whilst decor can give a clue to people's natures, knowing the detail of the interior design doesn't. Similarly, I can discover the differences between siblings from what they say and do, not being instructed. That said, it fitted Fawn's teaching nature to be constantly telling.

Muffin may have been the star – proving once again that dogs have excellent taste in people!

Running Into Love is the first book in Aurora Rose Reynold's Fluke My Life series and it's everything you've come to expect from her! It's got a great hero and heroine you just have to fall in love with!

Fawn in a school teacher and is jaded by love. After a few bad breakups, she's done with men. Levi is a police detective who moves in the apartment across from Fawn.  I loved their first meeting! Chemistry was there! Sparks all over, but since Fawn wasn't looking for men, she didn't really catch on.... at first! Their romance blossoms and I loved watching it unfold!

Aurora is known for her great contemporary stories and this one fits the bill! I loved everything about the couple, their families, and friends! There was a lot of humor to balance the seriousness of Levi's job. I look forward to being treated to some of the stories of their family!

If you enjoy a lighter read that's entertaining and sweet-look no further! I had a fun time reading it and I am sure you will too!

If you have read Aurora’s books then you know she can write amazing alpha heroes, and I will say Levi is my new favorite. She gave all the feels while keeping it classy. Fawn was adorable. She was strong spirited and easy to fall for. The secondary characters...... oh man, they have me not so patiently craving more from this series.

The writing is perfect. It’s what we know and love from ARR and it couldn’t have been done better. Amazing banter, funny inner dialogue, great connections with secondary characters and a plot that was light but captivating. The heat in this book was perfect also. It flowed beautifully and I love that they didn’t jump into bed too fast. Small hint of drama and mystery but it was an overall laid back story with humor and love.

While I know this book isn’t part of her Until series but I have to say that I felt the BOOM! If you have read that series you’ll know what I’m talking about and if you haven’t? Then what hell are you waiting for! Those characters are just as amazing.

So, I loved it! Nothing I would change, except for maybe it never being over. I can’t wait to see what characters we will see next and what’s going to happen! 5 Stars

Cute, fun and sexy with some serious undertones as well. I enjoyed this read, escpecially how decisive and protective the hero was without being a prick. This is pretty much an insta-love story (at least on the hero's part), if that's not your jam, you may want to pass in this one. Otherwise, it’s a great way to spend a few hours.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGallery, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This is a new to me author and I will be reading more from this author. Running into Love is a great book and start to a new series. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. The characters were easy to like.

Fawn is a school teacher who has a big heart and loves her students. She never expected to meet the handsome detective Levi in the park. They are both down on relationships and can't seem to make them work. Neither of them have had good luck when it comes to dating.

Fawn wasn't expecting to have such a strong attraction to Levi. It seems no matter where she goes she sees him. Levi is a good guy and the only one of his siblings not married with kids. Will Levi be able to get Fawn to open herself up to him and believe he's interested in him?

I really enjoyed this book and these characters. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

It’s probably best if we get right down to it. The title of this book comes from the fact that the heroine literally runs right into the hero while she is running in a busy NYC park with her eyes closed. I’m trying to think of a more ridiculous meet cute but I’m seriously drawing a blank. I mean, it’s so absurd, and the title is so silly that it feels like it should be a parody. It also doesn’t make a single lick of sense. Why was she running with her eyes closed? Is this something she regularly does? Why is this cute?!? Who knows, it’s never addressed. If you’re wondering is this is a sign of more vague ridiculousness to come, why yes, yes it is.

After our heroine, Fawn, bowls over a hot guy in the park she goes home and realizes that said hot guy is her brand new across-the-hall neighbor. Of course he is. Hot guy Levi is entirely smitten for some reason but Fawn’s majorly burnt out on the dating scene and is wary. He eventually wins her over by being hot, making her dog fall in love with him, and being a persistent bossy alpha male. She continues to win him over by being adorkably absent-minded and getting involved in unlikely hijinks.

Aurora Rose Reynolds is a true guilty pleasure author for me. On the one hand, I have bought literally every single one of her books. On the other hand, they’re so problematic that I would hesitate to recommend most of them to others. This is Reynolds’ first book with a publisher and I will say that I noticed a definite improvement in editing. What I didn’t notice, however, was an improvement in the level of misogyny.

If alpha heroes who use “Babe” as a sentence are not your bag then you should definitely steer clear of this book. Reynolds’ style is heavily influenced by Kristen Ashley and that means that her heroes are often damn-near unbearably high-handed and bossy. Sometimes I can deal with this, and sometimes I want to toss the hero out a frickin window. Unfortunately, Levi falls more in the latter category for me. For every one thing he does that is genuinely likable, there are like four frustrating things and one borderline-abusive thing.

This book barely holds together. So many things don’t make sense that it only works if you don’t stop to look at any one bit too closely. It also really feels like the author was writing two books with two different tones and then mashed them together. The romance is wacky and twee. The suspense side-plot involves Levi investigating murdered sex workers. Why are those two things in the same book? No good reason except to increase the page count, as far as I can tell. This book was a big all-around miss for me.

Running Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds

I admit it, I am a romance junkie (!!!) I love no angst, I love fluffy, sweep you of your feet romances with no added drama…

This was perfect, it was all I wanted from an Aurora Rose Reynolds story, I love the way she writes and can make you fall head over heels with a whole new cast of characters.

I am really excited for this new series, I think it is going to be something awesome to follow all these brothers and sisters and friends to find their own boom.

I am going to keep this short and sweet just like the story, I think everyone will enjoy this easy romance.
Arc was received for an honest review through Netgalley…

Fawn Reed is a beautiful, single 27 yr. old woman living in New York. She's a fifth grade teacher & an animal lover who adores her dog. She's currently given up on men since she's never lucky in love.

Levi Fremont is a gorgeous 30 yr. old guy who recently moved to New York. He's a homicide detective for the NYPD, & is extremely dedicated to his job. He eats & sleeps work until one day he has a run in with a stunning blonde. She literally runs into him, & words are exchanged. Then they realize they are neighbors & things get more complicated. They continue to see each other & start spending time together. They really enjoy each other's company & share an intense attraction neither can deny. Sparks fly, & soon they both want to see where things go. Feelings quickly develop, & soon they are both crazy about each other & mean everything to one another.

This is my new favorite book by Aurora Rose Reynolds. It was full of humor, love, & sexy as hell! I really enjoyed it start to finish & adored Levi. I was laughing & swooning throughout. This book was fabulous! Highly recommend this one.

I admit it – I’m a huge Aurora Rose Reynolds fan. When I saw her upcoming novel, Running Into Love, on NetGalley, I immediately begged the publisher for a copy. Running Into Love is a typical Reynolds novel. There is (nearly) instant love, an alpha male, and a bit of a clueless female. It was also humorous. I enjoyed the run-ins between the characters.

Because Running Into Love is the first novel of a new series, there were tons of characters to introduce. It got a bit confusing for me. I couldn’t keep Fawn’s or Levi’s family apart at some point!

This was a straight up romance without the suspense that I’m used to from Reynolds. Because of that, it was a little light and somewhat overly sweet. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon read. I eagerly await the next novel in this series.

I'm crying. Legit. Tears are streaming down my face as I'm sitting here thinking about Levi and Fawn's story. The moments that really melted my heart into goo, was with the family. No matter the story, Aurora Rose Reynolds shows you that family means EVERYTHING!

These alpha male hero's and their heroines will be the DEATH of me. .

Running Into Love is such a heartwarming love story, full of sweets, and a pinch of angst. A perfect combination.
