STEFAN'S SALVATION is a WOW! read. If you are looking for drama, danger, intrigue, passion and a sweet romance, then this is the book you want in your hands. I have read all of author N.J. Walter's Dalakis Passions books, (yes, I got them a little out of order, but it doesn't matter they are good) and though each one has the same basic theme they are all so different. They are vampires searching for their other half. In this one the "relationship" comes after the insta-lust, though the sex makes this nearly an erotic they do manage a little talking. Stefan is very alpha and it does take him a little bit to realize that Laurel is no shrinking violet, she's been on her own a long time and can handle many situations. The danger she finds herself in and the fact that he is a vampire do throw her a bit and when his uber alpha brothers' coming to help that adds to the drama.
Looking for a sexy, fast-past storyline with intrigue, some danger, sweet and a lot of steamy moments, then STEFAN'S SALVATION is what you need.

Stefan's Salvation is book 3 in the Dalakis Passion series. While I didn't read books 1 & 2 it read as a stand alone with only a few references to past events. This was an ok read for me. It wasn't the worst thing I've ever read but definitely not the best. It was overall very boring with way to much sex. I have read books by this author before and enjoyed them but this one just didn't work for me. Nothing really happened till the end and it was all resolved really quickly. The beginning and middle was filled with daily tasks ending with sex. So much so I found myself skimming them because they weren't really that exciting. I would read something else from this author but I probably wouldn't revisit this series.
"Stefan Dalakis has been wandering the countryside looking for a mate.. Both his brothers found their mates and are happy and in love. So understandably he's lonesome and wants to find his true love. He's been searching for five centuries but has been unable to find the one woman whom he can love. So he's traveling through a small roadside bar in North Carolina, he overhears a conversation that will change his life forever. Laurel Rose McCaffey is in danger he overhears and from that moment he must find her and when he does it's explosive. I have to say I generally don't read vampire books but this book was awesome. I literally could put it down. it's hot and their chemistry is off the charts. I recommend this book highly.
I enjoyed Stephen's story. In the previous books with his brothers he was like the liner in their family. He ends up in a small town named Salvation. He finds himself feeling something. His other half. They have all three found their one true mate. Laurel Rose and Stephan together are magnificent. These characters are strong and stay strong through out this series. Lucian and Christoff have not changed one bit! The fact that the detective is in this one is nice. Maybe, His story is next?? What do to think? It was an ok read. Not bad by any means. It didn't take me long to finish. I wonder what's next for these families. We all know family always comes first in the Dalakis family!!
I received this E-ARC from the publisher via Net Galley for my honest review. Thank you Net galley!
Laurel Rose is a loner. Having scars from young adulthood, as well as some psychic ability, the community of Salvation have gossiped about her, taunted her, and ignored her. She finds contentment living on the land that has been in her family for generations.
Stefan’s brothers have found happiness with their true mates and he finds being in their presence difficult to endure. He’s been looking for his own mate for five hundred years and has wondered if he shouldn’t just allow the sunlight to end his torture. While visiting a local bar he overhears a conversation that concerns him and when Laurel Rose’s name is mentioned he immediately feels a pull that can’t be denied.
This is an extremely steamy read with plenty of passion, suspense, drama and action. The characters are well rounded and their relationship is on the fast track. I would’ve enjoyed this even more if the story leading up to the bad guy unveiling had been developed a bit more.
I received an advance reader copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.
Dual POV
Safe although there was one part before Stefan meets Laurel Rose that I felt should’ve been left out.

'Stefan's Salvation' by N.J. Walters is book Three in the "Dalakis Passion" series. This is the story of Stefan Dalakis and Laurel Rose McCaffey. I have read the other books but feel this is a easy as standalone book.
Stefan has left his brothers who have found their life mate. Stefan has craved to find his and has been searching for hundreds of years. Stefan took to the road to travel to get a break from his brothers and their wives. On a stop at a local type bar he happens to hear two men talking about Laurel Rose and where threaten to hurt her. Stefan has never met a Laurel Rose but something inside him woke up and he needed to find her.
Laurel Rose has physical disabilities but she also can sense things...so would call her a witch. Her Neighbor has been trying to get her to leave her property and started to subtle threats.
Then Stefan shows up in wolf form at first but he Stefan knows he has found his life mate and will do anything to protect and claim her!
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

This third book in the series picks up with the broody one – Stefan. He’s the holdout of the brothers and was due for a nice HEA.
Stefan is prowling around the US trying to follow where his instincts lead him, which is hopefully to his one true mate. While grabbing a drink in some nowhere bar he ends up drawn to the sound of a woman’s name – Laurel Rose. The ones speaking it, however, have some foul intentions. Laurel Rose is the town’s oddity. She’s got a slight deformity and she has some mental powers that she’s probably not hiding well enough, so that’s enough to make her a little feared in town. Some locals are particularly stirred up because she won’t give up her land to a local developer who could bring in a big resort (and jobs, and money, etc. etc.).
On this night, Laurel ends up being saved by Stefan in wolf form, which begins their paranormal courtship. At least she has the benefit of being exposed to these types of things before, but that doesn’t mean she just jumps right into his arms. I was glad she made him work for it, because he could use a little blow to the ego. The larger story in town ends up interrupting their romance, but it also gives Stefan a chance to prove exactly how much he cares for Laurel. These two were a fun couple to read and it was particularly satisfying to see the brooding guy shake off his funk.
This is a good, quick (not that quick he is a vampire) vampire fated mate sexy read.
I was a little put off by the insta-sex. Stefan was a little too alpha in the beginning. I do like the story outside of the sex and relationship. Their relationship was good once it developed but they really didn't do much but have hot sex, not that that was bad. Having Stefan's family come to help when he needed them added to the story. I would have liked to see how Laurel Rose handled her old lifestyle with her new one. Gardening at night? I received a free ebook in exchange for an honest review.
It was better then the first two. More story, but again it was full of sex. FULL, like at least once a chapter. Event chapter after they got together, even the chapter when she almost died. I like this author and this hasn't been her best series. It is ok not super great not even close to bad.
Received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
N.J. Walters never fails to delight with her paranormal romances. Excellent!
Stefan's Salvation is book 3 in the Dalakis Passion series. I found this story an amazing, powerful addition to the series. Stefan & Laurel are wonderful characters, maybe not the partnering you expect but one making you believe in a true HEA. I loved this book and will recommend this book and series to others.
I liked this paranormal read. The story is fast paced with lots of suspense, drama and steamy. The chemistry between Stefan and Laurel is excellent. Now that Stefan’s brothers have found their mates he continues to search for his own. Is Laurel the one? Entertaining read.
Stefan's Salvation is a powerful story of soul wrenching loneliness and the hope that there is someone to fill the void. But will a woman who is feared by most, and merely tolerated by others, turn out to be the mate that Stephan has been searching for?
Stephan and Laurel are wonderful together and bring the pages alive with their unique chemistry; and while their attraction is undeniable, there is danger, mystery and unwanted elements invading their lives.
This is truly another fabulous story by Ms Walters and breath-taking addition to the Dalakis Passion series.
