After reading this sampler, I am dying to get a copy of the finished book.

Fast paced, thrilling and exciting, after only 6 chapters the author has managed to not only describe this world brilliantly, but set up a fascinating story.

I'M SO HYPE FOR THIS BOOK. I usually don't like first person present, but this is pretty seamless and drew me in straight away. I'll definitely buy this when it comes out.

I don't normally like requesting and read chapter samplers. Because what if I like the chapters I've read? Then I will have to wait till next year before I can go out and buy the book in question. And, of course, it's happened again so CURSE YOU!!!

Here is how good the sampler of CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE was. I only read the first chapter. This sampler has six chapters and I stopped after reading the first. I knew from what little I read that this book was going to have everything I wanted: gripping writing, exciting world-building and a lead character that I know I will be cheering and rooting for. This had a vibe to it that "Rebel of the Sands" fans might like but, until I read the book when it comes out in 2018, am speculating...

I stopped reading after the first chapter because I didn't want to read the six chapters then stare at my kindle, going "But... wait... where's the rest of it?!". I shall be eagerly awaiting this book's release in March 2018.

I have heard a lot about this one and while I did enjoy the sampler, it didn't really entice me to read the rest of the book.

Wow! This sneak peek was absolutely fantastic- I'm officially marking down the release on my calendar. Also, if anyone (cough*the publisher*cough) wants to give me an ARC, I pinky-promise I'd read it immediately...
