What an absolutely fabulous novel. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Was a great story from start to finish. Could not put it down. Can't wait to read the next one in the series. Characters and plot were well thought out. Flowed seemlessly.
Voices is a great mystery and a great GODly message. It is about the end times where Daniel - who was left behind - has been well let me say something was happening to him that was scaring him and he thought he was going crazy but he wasn't - you have to read the book to find out what it is. He is driven, cautious, inquisitive and caring. This book opens your mind to the tribulation and the rapture and it makes you want to research it for yourself to find out what is the truth - as a child my father - a pastor - to NEVER - ever - take anyones word to you no matter who it is - Pastor, friend, no one - unless you can have it backed by the Scriptures. Now this is just a novel so that doesn't apply so it is fun - but that was just a little advice.
Thank you so much to netgalley for sending me an ARC copy of voices a novel of the end times by Steven Ira . It will be released on November 10, 2017
It is set in a time between the rapture and tribulation, the great suffering. As everything starts to fall apart, everyone starts to quickly question what they believe.
The best way i can describe This book is that it most resembles a new type of the left behind series, it was filled with suspense, action and taking a look at how you live your life.
I seem to enjoy the Christian books where the main character is struggling to believe, i feel alot of people could benefit from reading books where the character might relate to them in a biblical sense.
I really liked that some of the main characters names where biblical like Micheal and Daniel it made the story come together, connect better in my opinion.
This was not the first and will probably not be last novel I've read about the end times. Only after finishing I realized this is only the first book of a series.
This novel focuses on the time between "rapture" and "tribulation", the rise of the antichrist and the jews' role.
Although I don't agree with all interpretations of the biblical prophesies (and with me many theologians - it's the nature of prophesies) this was an entertaining and suspenseful read.
