Gabriel Evans is complete and utter ass! Despite this, the lovely Ava does her best to make things right after she runs over his foot with her car.

His broken foot means that he needs to rest and keep off his feet as much as possible and Ava volunteers for the job as his nursemaid.

The dialogue between these characters is absolutely hysterical at times but it’s a wonder that Ava doesn’t just murder him and be done with it!

It takes some time for them to act on the attraction they have for each other and when ‘it’ eventually happens, it’s definitely worth waiting for!

Of course true love never runs smoothly. Gabe, being the Hollywood star he is, is fodder for the rumour mill and when one of Gabe’s best hidden secrets is publicised, he blames Ava.

The journey to their happy ever after is a journey worth taking. If you can get past the fact that Gabe is an ass of the highest order, you’re in for a light-hearted, fun read.

Let me start by saying Samantha Towle is one of my favourite authors around right now. I love her books, and after laughing out loud to Wardrobe Malfunction earlier this year, I was dying to get my hands on a copy of Breaking Hollywood.

Just like Wardrobe Malfunction, this book had me giggling as I read it from the start. I love the almost slapstick element these books start off with, as in the male leads getting injured by the female lead. In this case, Gabe Evans is broken by Ava and her tiny car and from there a relationship grows.

I have to admit, I loved the banter and quick-witted remarks between these characters. Their conversations--that borderlines on insults most of the time--was paced well, flowed well, and kept me hooked. Books with plenty of speech are my favourite kind, and these two had great personalities that shone through in it.

As for the plot, it was a little predictable, but the characters kept me engaged. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow--and of course the comedic elements with Gucci. Gucci definitely stole the show at some points and I know want a goat.

Overall, another great read from this author. It made me laugh, kept me hooked, and I lost sleep just to finish it. I couldn't have asked for more.

I received an ARC from Netgalley for my honest review.

This book was just what I needed! It's funny and sweet and a really great pick me up!

I loved how Gabe and Ava meet, it's so far from romantic, its hilarious although a lot painful for Gabe! I giggled a lot of the way through reading this book. Ava has a pet goat named Gucci! A goat!! Samantha Towle is a genius!

This is not your average romance story, the couple bicker and take the mick out of each other 90% of the time, but that's what makes this story gold! Its not all comedy moments, there's serious moments and the pair have some great chemistry together, and there were twists I didn't see coming! I loved it! It's a must read!

Well! From the very first page I was laughing out loud, I mean proper laughing to myself, and it just continued throughout the first few chapters. Gabe and Ava are just hilarious together, add into the mix a Pygmy goat called Gucci, yes that's right, Gucci, and my cheeks were physically hurting from all the smiling. I love dual POV playboy turned saviour stories so this definitely worked for me. Gabe was sexy, funny, sweet and a super hot alpha with quite a lot of a$$hole in the mix, my favourite type of book boyfriend. Ava was strong, cute, hilariously funny and she didn't take any cr@p, so she definitely got my vote. Oh, and the chemistry between these two was off the charts hot, just saying. Not only was the story laugh out loud funny there were some truly emotional moments along with some added angst I did not see coming. Overall a sweet, funny and completely addictive read. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

There's no suprise that when Samantha Towle brings out a new book I read it and love it.

This book was just amazing. I laughed so hard all the way through. Gabe and Ava are my favourite characters so far in standalone books by Sam.

I loved it so much xx

I was given an arc of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I am never disappointed by a Samantha Towle novel and Breaking Hollywood is no exception.

This book follows Ava and Gabe who meet when Ava runs over Gabes foot. This is just the latest incident to happen to Ava to turn her world upside down. Their interaction starts out tense but the bickering soon becomes flirty, feisty banter. It ends up with Ava agreeing to take care of Gabe while he is off his feet. This is where for me I do not agree with the original assessment of Gabe's character. He is supposed to be an a*****e but to me yes he was angry initially but you find out why he was stood where he was and the way he reacts when he finds out Ava is homeless is not that of the typical a*****e character. Gabe is actually quite sweet deep down he just keeps himself closed off for personal reasons which just taking into account his celebrity status is understandable without knowing his secrets. Ava is feisty and fun though a little naïve at times and though I think she could be a pushover she also knows what she wants and goes for it.

There is the usual moment of angst and tension that threatens the new couple but it is quickly and plausibly resolved though I was screaming at the Kindle at both of them for various reasons at that point in their story.

The scene stealer though is Gucci but I will let you all discover her for yourself!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and though it isn't one that absolutely wowed me 24 hours after finishing and I am still chuckling at the lively banter and smiling at the happy ever after. I can see myself reading this again once the book has been released.

Breaking Hollywood is a follow up to Wardrobe malfunction, but it is a standalone so don't worry if you haven't read the previous story, but I bet you'll want to rush and read that as well after this great story.
Gabe Evans is a hot, top Hollywood actor, after losing her job, boyfriend and apartment Ava accidentally runs over and breaks Gabe's foot when driving out of her parking space in tears.
So begins a relationship that is hilarious, hot and absolutely wonderful. This book has the ability to make you laugh out loud, hyperventilate (taking so many deep breaths) and have your heart racing/breaking at the same time.
A fabulous tale where love and humour shines through, and as for the epilogue.....Astro......you'll know what I mean after reading this stunner.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for opportunity to review this book.

I squeed so hard when my email pinged to say I'd received a copy of Breaking Hollywood from NetGalley!

Eva and Gabriel meet when Ava is in tears after double whammy of losing her job and her boyfriend leaving her months before. Upset, Ava ends up accidentally driving over Gabes foot and breaking it (seriously, the first chapter had me in stitches!) What transpires from there is lots a witty banter, back and forth barbs, frustration, angst and love.

We first met these characters in Wardrobe Malfunction and I'm so glad we got to see a little more of Charley and Vaughn. As much as I loved the characters in this book, I honestly think Gucci the Pygmy goat stole my heart, I want one!

The story had a twist in it that I honestly didn't see coming. I thought I'd gotten a good idea where the story was heading by chapter 2/3, but I was completely wrong. Samantha Towle has written another great book with loveable characters that you can't help but experience what they are right along with them!

I can't wait for more by this author and I really hope Tate gets his own book in the future!

4 stars!
