WOW! I love the Grisha world that Leigh Bardugo had created and was so excited to read this book and even more excited when this came up to be reviewe on NetGalley.
Leigh takes you back to the world of all things Grisha but with a twist. She weaves you stories from the lands of the Grisha from Zemeni comes the story of Ayama and the Thorn Wood - a tale making you think who really is the monster. Ravkan story of The Too-Clever Fox, The Witch of Duva and Little Knife - all these stories have powerful meanings behind them some words which is you should never judge someone by there appearance. The tales from Kerch - The Soldier Prince and lastly the Fjerdan where you will be pleasantly surprised who you meet!
Leigh and her style of writing has you gripped from the first sentence I love how she weaves fairytales and maes them her own and adds in the Ravkan or Fjerdan twist. She takes you back the world that you love and this just adds to the fantasy world that is hard to forget.
