This collection of poems was forgettable and completely lacking in imagination. At least three poems were the same, the only difference being the mythical animal they chose to focus on. I expected a lot more from this as folklore is practically dripping in poetic potential.

This collection of poems was a nice surprise! You don't get to read about elves , faeries and other magical creatures - in rhymes. Well done!

I love poetry, but rarely do I find a collection of fantasy-based poetry. It's such a rare topic that I must admit I was skeptical going in that poems could possibly do justice to magic and fantastical creatures while still being enjoyable. I'm so glad that this collection exceeded my expectations! If you enjoy poetry and love magic then this book is a must read!
