Eventually, I enjoyed this book. I didn't think I would stick it out until the end because I did not like the way it was written at the beginning - too many descriptions that were unnecessary made it seem like an essay set for an English exam. It detracted from the story and made it appear as if parts were a filler. That improved and the story developed. Good little story, somewhat unbelievable that a cosseted young lady could turn into Indiana Jones, but it is what it is. Worth a read and I would recommend it for a quiet afternoon :)
