This book has a talented writer behind it in, Kay Bigelow, but the book plot seemed to be paced erratically.

Trent is a woman who moves into a cabin and notices the gardener Mickey. They quickly being to date with it almost bordering on a bit of obsession on Mickey's part. The dialogue and scenes are definitely well crafted & written.

Mikey's character is written and consistent with how the author has her started in the beginning of the book, but the plot, especially the ending seem rushed and unclear. It almost seems at the back of the book their more turmoil in the relationship that in the front part of the book.

But if you like a mystery this book delivers.

This is an ok book, with an average romance plot and some suspense, but not well resolved. The romance is developed in the beginning of the book, as the two main characters meet and quickly, too quickly, start dating and overcoming their issues caused by past dramatic events. Really their background has been troubled but both, surprisingly, seem to have reached a point in wich are willing to try with love again. Then the story starts mingling the events that haunt Mickey with the growing relationship and the book loses the romantic thread. The resolution of the threat has been a bit rushed and confusing. And from then till the end of the book the story also seems to go awkwardly as if the author did not know well how to finish it.
