She tells him she's just arrived from America and she is here to spend the summer with him. Gemma and Benedict make an arrangement, she can stay if she helps him with operation WEB - Win Estelle Back.

What a heart warming story this is. I have read the authors previous book, The Curious Charms Of Arthur Pepper and I enjoyed it so much that I could not wait to see what she had in store for us next and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. The chapters all have gem stones for names with a brief description of what the stone represents. The book is full of likeable characters and it's set in a quaint little village. This book is called Wishes Under The Willow Tree in the UK but it was previously published this year as Rise And Shine Benedict Stone.

A pleasant read with an almost magical twist. Chocolat with Gems. Interesting to read some of the meaning of different gemstones. The only thing I really couldn't get my head around was the name of the village, which was pictured as a typical English Village, but the name of Noon Sun just did not sit in the realms of the believable. Quite a feel good book with charming characters and some humour. It deals with family conflicts and resolving issues by honesty and coming to terms with situations. Inoffensive light read.

Well this is just too cute to mention! Very sad throughout and I'm sure I wept a tear or two, but what a charming story of hope and reflection. I fell in love with Arthur Pepper, now I'm in love with Benedict!
There's no room for booktrails with this one so I've noted a few villages up and down the country which are hidden gems in their own right and I think the joy of this book is making you feel as if you can find your own gems in life if you look hard enough. I really wanted to give Benedict a hug!
