As a football fan, it was a very enjoyable book to read. However, it was a bloody long read as it kept going off on tangents that while nice, you really could have been done without reading and just stuck instead to the core stuff.

I’ve been a Liverpool fan and have been going the game, on and off since the mid 70’s. It doesn’t matter if you are an LFC fan or not as this is more a football journey. A passionate, informative and historic look at football where all the different chapters are beautifully linked, with historic and little known facts or anecdotes. A must have for any football fan.
