An interesting read about Ash Dieback but also about the author's relationship with nature and her coming to terms with a life threatening and altering illness. I found this book didn't flow altogether smoothly and I would've liked to read more about the research into Ash Dieback. However, it was a pleasant read, I learnt some things and was inspired to seek out online images of the places that the author visited. I would like to wish her well in regards to her health issues - I was drawn to this book because of my interest in trees but also because I had someone in my life who suffered similar health issues.
