A very traditional storyline of times when workhouse were unfortunately needed, but ultimately a cause for scandal for those that found themselves living in one or coming from one.

This was a well told,story and it felt historically accurate min most instances, so well researched.

The story flowed nicely and I found it a nice gentle read.

A great read with a good twist. I would thoroughly recommend this book.

A great read, really loved the character's and was drawn into the period of the book. Fantastic.
