If you're looking for a quality suspense/thriller starring adorable lesbians then Lucy's Chance is for you. The chemistry between Lucy and Erica is palpable. Even several years of separation after Lucy dumped Erica there's a smoldering hot coal of attraction just waiting to erupt into flames again. The two need to temper this attraction and the need to resolve their breakup when there's a serial killer on the loose in their hometown and there's another missing woman depending on them to find her. We spend some time in the serial killer's head and, oh my, what a creeper. I was thoroughly uncomfortable listening in on his thoughts. The plot twists and twirls around Lucy and Erica's escalating reconnection with the tracking of the killer creating a suspenseful air of tension throughout the story. I was annoyed that I had to sleep and work because it so rudely interrupted my reading time. Good luck trying to put this thriller down once you start it because you'll fall in love with the likable characters and the charming town they live in while the plot keeps you riveted to the pages.

First time reading a Jackie D novel and I am impressed. It has the right amount of angst, romance, and thrill / mystery to it. I'm definitely checking out her other works right now. Great story with solid characters
