Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This collection of poetry really lives by the tag line "Life is serious, but not to be lived too seriously."
Wasn't overly impressed with this poetry collection. There are certainly a few gems, but as a while I felt like the majority were very simple and said little.
Definitely one of the most "interesting" poetry collections I've read. Written so differently than anything I've ever seen. The word play was fun and I had to stop and think about most of these, which I find neat.
Beautiful imagery, really nice poems. It's shorter than I realized, but that's not a bad thing. I like the author's writing style as well-- he invokes feeling but doesn't sound too self-indulgent. I think since a lot of these poems are so short, they would be nicely complimented by high-quality paper with some gorgeous original background art!
As a short collection of short pieces, I enjoyed it.
My primary complaint is that the best poems ended too quickly.
Chris Burleigh's poetry is beautiful and haunting. In 'Particles of Light', each poem is a vivid story weaved into a small space. Every reader will find something to love in this book of poetry.
This book is both lyrical and beautiful. The poetry is so magical, I just can't get enough!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a thought-provoking read!
Modern way to express the life in the city with a sparkle of authenticity.

I am reviewing a copy of Particles Of Light through Troubadour Publishing and Netgalley:
This brief collection of poetry is an exploration of words and meaning, and a celebration of sounds.
Despite the size of this collection it covers a wide variety of poetry from nature, to love poems. It's shows generosity of Spirit as well as passion, living an life.
I give Particles of Light five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
