First chapters matter and this one makes the reader wish for the next ones. A confused young lady relishes her first views of New York. She drops hints about her past which need to be explained later. Where will the story take us?

A fantastic 1st chapter taster in the lead up to the book being released, reading the 1st chapter I felt the buzz of how much I enjoyed the previous books and how this one is already capturing me and taking me on another journey with the lovely Lou. I love her quirky personality and how you can literally feel the pain of her loss of Will but you can also feel her determination to honour his memory and experience new things. Very excited for the release of the book so I can see what New York has in store for Lou.

I’ve just red the first chapter and In just the first paragraph I was hooked into Louisa’s story again and brought back great memories from the last two books I can’t wait to read the recast if this story and see what happens in her story

I had heard of JoJo Moyes as an author but had never read any of her books. When I saw this was a sample chapter I thought it would be a good way of finding out whether I liked her books or not. Well, that was interesting! I quickly read through the chapter and when I got to the end remembered- "Argh'" - it was only a chapter - but now I want to know what happens! Not only that, but I realised it was a sequel, and quickly found there were two preceding books. Guess what just got added to my reading list!

Interesting first chapter I have never been to New York and I felt I was exploring it with Louisa. Can't wait to read the rest to see what happens.

I was a fan of Me Before You and After You (although I must preferred the first book) and I'm so excited to read the full version Still Me. I knew the book was coming but didn't know anything about it so I'm thrilled it's at least partly set in New York! I'm also happy to see that Lou is still with Sam. The first chapter has left me wondering how New York is going to affect their relationship though! I can't wait to be able to read a full copy of the book.

Louisa Clark is back and in this one chapter as funny,lovely,irrepressible and wonderful as ever.....I was laughing out loud in the first paragraphs then quickly drawn into her arrival in New York and the Gopnicks home.....remembered Will as he was mentioned and thought back to the previous books which impacted so many of us and was pleased to see Nathan again.....,the housekeeper will be trouble!!!!! I almost felt I was in New York with Louisa as her infectious enthusiam jumped out at me from the book....
SUPERB first chapter and cant wait for the rest.......

A most anticipated continuation of a much loved character (Lou Clark and her striped tights). Even just reading the first chapter has drawn me in to the wonderful, Heart wrenching and tear jerking life of Lou. The continuation of a bestselling series, Jojo Moyes is a wonderful writer and storyteller who draws you in and doesn’t let go until the end or to wipe away the tears from laughter or heartbreak. I’m now impatiently waiting for the full book. Would recommend this lovely author to anyone.

I feel like Louisa in the New York coffee shop - delighted to be reading the first chapter of her American adventures while wondering what is to come. This chapter hooked me in and I can't wait to read the whole book! Louisa at immigration - painted perfectly on both sides...

Another exciting instalment of Lou's life, I laughed and cried equally and can't wait to be able to read more. Love this author, she never fails to hit the spot and such a change for me from psychological thrillers. Fantastic,

Eeeek how exciting to read an email offering the first chapter to read for 24 hours only! Because I've read the other books and LOVED them, I have downloaded and read the first chapter in minutes! I NEEEEEED to read more NOW! I love Louisa and I really need to read the rest. JoJo Moyes is one of the few authors I will read not in the crime catagory without being bored. I laughed out loud at the part in the airport and was close to tears too! Counting down until I get to read the rest!

Couldn’t wait to read this looks like another winner looking forward to settling down with whole book

Having been a huge fan of Jojo Moyes' work, I was very excited to hear the follow-up to Me Before You and After You was on the way!
This first chapter has me hooked already, with the same style and charm as her previous books, I flew through it and can't wait to find out what happens to Lou Clark in what I'm sure will be another beautifully written book.
