I enjoyed the first two books about Lou Clarke, and felt that there was more to her story, so I was pleased to find that a third book is to be published. I suspect that if I had the full book, I would read it at a sitting, as I did with the first two. Lou is a very quirky .lively character, and I loved the description of New York in the early morning (although in my experience immigration officers aren't as chatty).

I will definitely handsell the book (going off the chapter), but I hope to get a full proof so I can find out what happens soon.

I really enjoyed the forst 2 books by Joho Moyes and this chapter if the third has got me hooked. The characters and locations are described very well. The author has a capability of making the reader laugh, so looking forward to reading this book in full.

I absolutely cannot wait until this book comes out. I sobbed as I read the original Me Before You. The story or Lou's journey in After You was so beautiful and I can't wait to hear the next instalment of Lou's journey. The first chapter already has me hooked and I'll be reading the full book as soon as I can!

Great opening chapter, I feel like this sampler has already set up Lou in an exciting new setting with tonnes of potencial, excited to find out how the rest of the book pans out.

Having read the previous two books and loving him I was delighted to get a sneak peak of chapter one of ‘Still Me’. Ok it is only one chapter but it is so good. This book is going to be a massive hit and I for one am so looking forward to it’s release.

Brilliant. I have read the previous 2 books and I really liked the first chapter of the third. It is really well written. I could imagine Lou walking through the streets of New York. Everything is described perfectly. New York is an incredible city and it is captured perfectly in this chapter. It made me want to go back. I am really looking forward to reading the rest of the book.

I am a huge fan of the previous two books in this series (Me Before You and After You) and I was so excited when I knew there was a third book in the pipeline. This first chapter is just a little reminder of why we love Lou and I can't wait for the book to be released in January!

Reading this sample definitely brightened a grey November morning on a packed train! I was only sorry that it ended when it did. Can't wait to read on. I loved ME BEFORE YOU and AFTER YOU and I'm sure STILL ME is going to be just as good. Looking forward to singing its praises far and wide... #FirstChapterSampler:stillMe #NetGalley

Lou Clark has got herself a job in New York and continues with her promise to live that she made to Will Traynor in the book Me before You. She has left her boyfriend Sam in London and set out to enjoy all the wonders of New York. She finds herself in the world of old money in one of the apartments of the rich upper class and she is looking forward to meeting the lady of the house who she will be looking after.
Chapter One follows her arrival in New York and Lou's first impressions of her new workplace. She comes face to face with another member of staff who looks down her nose at Lou. She then steps out in to the early morning of New York to soak up the atmosphere. It is a great scene setting chapter.

I loved this opening chapter. Jojo Moyes is brilliant at capturing the feeling of a place that I felt transported to New York. Within these opening lines I already want to know more and feel engaged with the protagonist and her future. Can't wait to read the rest...!

I thoroughly enjoyed this first chapter of Still Me. Louisa's chatty nervousness with the immigration officer reminds you of the first book in the series, Me Before You, and you start to hope for a happier outcome for her in this book.
The journey from the airport into Manhattan in the luxurious Mercedes limousine indicates that Louisa will be working for wealthy people, and her delight at the iconic view of Manhattan across the Brooklyn Bridge sets the scene for her new life. The descriptions of the Lavery Building on Fifth Avenue, very grand and expensive looking but a tad old-fashioned, where she will be living, albeit in the servants quarters, make you realise that her new employers are seriously wealthy, in the upper echelons of New York society. A whole new world for Louisa!
When she goes out the next morning to buy milk, the buzz and excitement of New York spills off the page, you are almost experiencing it for yourself. An excellent beginning, I cannot wait to find out what happens.

JoJo Moyes does it again.
That easy natural flow of writing, the humour, wit and style that makes us love the character like one of our own friends & secret pulling force she has to suck you right in to crazy funny Louisa's world from word go are all still very much here as the introduction starts with her bungling arrival in New York ready to start a new position.
You know as the reader by the end of this book you will have had many laughs, frustrations and have been put completely and utterly through the emotional ringer in true JoJo Moyes style and going by this first teasing chapter the deep foundations are just been laid and I for one can not wait to continue the journey!.
My thanks go to the author, publishers and Netgalley in providing me with this Arc of the first chapter in return for a honest review.

I've loved other Jojo Moyes novels and this seems to be a fitting and lovely third book in the series! Me Before You was great as was After You and now Lou is off to America and to a new and no doubt fantabulous adventure. Now, it's been a while since I've read books one and two, but as soon as I'd read only a few chapters , the charm, tone and warm heartedness of the characters jumped from the page.

Jojo's writing is welcoming and even from just a sampler chapter, the sense of the story shone through. And I'm happy to say so did the location! I have to read the rest of this book as if the city of New York shines in such a short space of time, then I can't wait for the adventure to unfold!

It’s a tiny sampler but it’s enough to learn that fans of ‘Me before you’ and ‘After you’ won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to read what happens to Lou on her new adventure!

When Louisa gets a new job as assistant to Mrs Gopnik - she has to make the move to New York on her own. Its a big move but when she arrives at The Lavery where she will now be living, her excitement outweighs her nerves. Her first morning she goes to explore and stops at a coffee shop and enjoys the peace and quiet watching the world go by.... but then a fight breaks out so she escapes back to the safety of her room. The first chapter of this book looks promising and look forward to finding how Louisa settles into her new environment and meeting Mrs Gopnik.

I would describe the sample of this novel supplied by Netgalley as in the "ok" group - if you are not seeking anything with depth or meaning. Perhaps a good read for the beach with lots of nodding off in between chapters. Whilst the writer's first book was engaging - this cannot be said for this sampler of her latest novel. i was bored very quickly and it was easy to disengage from the character.

I haven't read any of Jojo Moyes' previous books so was not familiar with Lou Clarke, but the first chapter was very intriguing and I'd be interested to read more about her!

If the rest of the book is as warm, friendly and funny as the first chapter then we are in for a treat! It was wonderful to catch up with Lou again and to see her take the next steps into the new chapter of her life. I love Jojo Moyes writing - perfectly balanced comedy one moment and sadness the next, I can't wait to read the rest of this!

Well I can't wait to read the rest of the book. Within the first couple of paragraphs I was face-planting over some of the things that Lou says and does. I am keen to see how she copes with the drastic life changes she has made and whether she is indeed ready for it all! Great first chapter and I am hooked.

I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Lou and the rest of them. Now here comes number three of the series. And it’s the same as before, great characterization, witty dialogue and I know, even after the first sample chapter, more heartache and tears to come in the story. I love JoJo Moyes writing and she hasn’t disappointed. Can’t wait for the book to be released.
