The action throughout the book was a little far-fetched, but the book was enjoyable none the less. After all, it is science fiction.

The main character is a loser whose setup to be a scapegoat and be tried as a traitor. He stumbles into situations that give him the advantage over his pursuers and ends up as the people's hero in this budding series.

The author, Tillsley, appears to be new but he is backed by a publisher who put The Last Cruise Ship in print so the publishing agent has confidence that this book will sell. I think it will as well. I was provided this book in return for an honest review.

This was slightly disappointing for me.
The characters just seemed to lack a slight bit of depth with there interaction appearing forced.
The story though was well paced and improved the further I read.
