Let me start by saying I love Caillou. I have read these books to all three of my children and now my grandsons. I love how they tell a story to where he learns a lesson along the way. How he loves his family but does have disagreements well because he is a little guy y wth a lot of attitude.
I am personally a fan of Caillou. Used to watch it a ton growing up. Now that I have a child of my own we watch it together when we can. My son loves Caillou as much as I do so reading this book was super fun. This was great as a Mother's Day read!

Within twenty-four pages, this board book with a padded cover features bright color illustrations. The story focuses on Caillou and his mother, as they spend the day together.
Caillou Loves His Mommy is geared toward young children, specifically ages two to six.
Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
My five year old son is a big fan of the tv series. This was the first book version he had read and he loved it. Very colourful and follows same type of format as the tv series. Thoroughly enjoyed
Beautiful book about mommy and her son.
Children particularly liked how Caillou does the same things and plays the same games with his mother as we do.
Lovely illustrations. Very entertaining.
Highly recommended.
This book is about the loving relationship between a mother and son. It shows the moments they share, how Caillou's mother shows him compassion and love. They share precious moments having fun together, and it would be adorable to read this together with your little kid.
Illustrations are very colourful and goes very well with the story. Kida would enjoy looking at them.
I would recommend it for little kids. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for granting a copy for an honest review.
This beautifully illustrated book centres around Caillou and his love for his momma!! A gentle read which my four year old grandson loved his face lit up at some of the pages. Overall a cute enjoyable book
Caillou Loves his Mommy by Christine L'Heureux is a short but sweet book about a small boy that loves his mum. Caillou has a very special bond between his mother. The illustrations throughout the book was beautiful.
'Caillou Loves His Mommy' is from a range of books about Caillou growing up, each of which presents various different childhood activities. This one is all about the things that Caillou and his mum do together and focuses on the maternal bond that is there. It's a sweet story focusing on their day together and the nice things they do. The images are nice and clear and complement the story well. On the whole, a nice little book for young children to read with their parents or carers.
This book is bright and colourful and the illustrations are really attractive to a younger reader. Caillou wants his Mommy’s attention and tries several different ways until the game of hide and seek begins. Many of the actions will be familiar to any youngster allowing them to empathise with the character of Caillou. My 4 1/2 year old advanced reader read this to me without issue and found it a “brilliant book because there are just the right number of words in it. I really liked the song from Mommy”.
I'm not a huge Caillou fan, but was hoping that this would be a pleasant reading experience. It wasn't horrible, yet I was hoping more for something a young child could read to parents, instead of being read to.
Thank you Netgalley and Chouette Publishing for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Very much like the television show, the relationship between Caillou and his Mom is very loving and playful. Having a 5 year old, I related oh so well to my little one wanting to play while I was trying to read or do anything else. Caillou has such a playful spirit that it would probably be hard to say no to playing a quick game of hide-and-seek with him. This is a great story to read to young children and toddlers.
Caillou Love His Mommy is such a sweet, simple story with vivid illustrations. I read this to my two daughters ages 3 and 4 years old. My youngest is a big Caillou fan and was delighted to hear a story about her beloved character. This story held both children’s attention and I know my youngest will ask to have it read to her over and over. I liked that there is a song that Caillou sings to his bear that we find his mother sings to him as well; it goes to show children are little sponges and how important the time you spend with them is

The bond between Caillou and his mom are shown through small activities they do together. bright and colourful illustrations. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher
Another quick episode for Caillou fans. This time, the mother-child bond is celebrated. Caillou's mother affirms her love in this sweet story. They talk and play hide-and-seek together. The book closes with Caillou's mommy singing to him--a version of the song he sang to his sad teddy bear in the beginning of the story.
Caillou stories are always fun to read. They remind you of childhood.
This title is a nice addition to the Caillou story collection. It shows the games and fun that Caillou and his mom have as they spend the day together. The illustrations do a nice job of supporting the story content and will help young readers as they work through the story on their own or with the help of a parent.
“Caillous Loves His Mommy” is a sweet book, but it ended rather abruptly.
I downloaded this book for my son. He loves reading almost as much as me and he seemed to enjoy this book.
It's just short enough and basic enough for his attention span and I enjoyed the being able to relate to Callou's mom.
I'm not certain that this will turn into one of my son's favorites but we shall see. It's worth a read. It's a decent bedtime story.
Cute children's book about mommy and me time! The artwork is bold and colorful, which is something that little ones will enjoy!
