An exhilarating, true crime caper in which 2 rookie FBI agents set out to trap a master financial con artist. The book reads like fiction, and fiction penned by an author with a wild and unfettered imagination - but it is all true.

These events took place back in the mid 70s when surveillance techniques were untried and unsophisticated and the book never fails to enthral as you wonder whether your two intrepid agents, learning on the job as they go along, will succeed in conning the conman and bringing an end to his unedifying scams.

I have never previously been an aficionado of true crime books but this wonderful effort has made me change my mind.

What a great read.
A true crime story with brilliant tales of the FBI in the 1970's - 80's.
A real eye opener.
