With thanks to netgalley and the author for allowing me to review this book.

How to keep a secret is a enjoyable book by the well known author Sarah Morgan. It was my first Sarah Morgan book but it won't be my last.

How to keep a secret is all about family, love and how keeping secrets can be hard. It's a perfect summer read,

Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!

Sarah Morgan is one of my favourite authors. I loved this book. The story is told by three generations of the same family. Each chapter is told from a different characters point of view. The book had lots of likeable characters. A story of love, family and secrets.

This book is sweet and cute but no way near as fluffy as the cover portrays. The story of the Stewart sisters, Nancy, the mother/grandmother, Jenna, Lauren and her daughter Mack. All women are keeping secrets and we see the fallout.

Times are not easy for these women, Lauren’s husband has just died, so her and Mack, up sticks from London back to her mother many thousands of miles away. Jenna is going through her own heartbreak and Nancy too is keeping a secret. Mack, however, blurts her secret out at her fathers funeral which starts a catalyst for her and Lauren.

Now don’t get me wrong, I understand that Mack is a teenager, so emotions are turbulent. I mean I was a teenager once, but I struggled with her. Her attitude and outbursts had me facepalming. I get she was in her bubble with her own problems, but it was the way she spoke to her mother, I hated that. Probably because it reminded me of how my mum and I were before we lost my dad. Now we are the best of friends, but growing up we couldn’t be in the same room. So I do get it, but I just struggled with her.

This is my first book of Sarahs that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed my journey. She had me engaged with her characters, their story and strife and she knows how to keep secrets for sure. I would so love a follow up to this book to see how the Stewart women are getting on as I feel there is so much more to their story.

I loved the transformation of the Sail Loft and the main house. The effort and love shone through in the book, I think I would love Laurens creative eye running over my house!!

This was a beautiful tale to reiterate that it is never too late for a second chance and that life really is too short. It was a heartwarming story set against a beautiful setting. A family who were so far apart from each other that learn how to become whole as an individual and as a unit.

I have another book on my shelf to read by Ms Morgan but it is safe to say I will be keeping an eye out for her future releases as well as delving into her back catalogue. Her books are easy to read and to lose yourself in the tale in front of you. She engages the reader with the easy flow of her writing and includes us in the characters lives. We can see the growth of everyone through different eyes rather than from one point of view. I look forward to my next adventure.

A nice, easy summertime read from Sarah Morgan. I do prefer her older style romances so am less desperate to read the newer books but she has a wonderful way of writing so the books are still enjoyable.

One of my most favourite recent reads and as always, a delightful novel from Ms Morgan, and I very much recommend this book to all who love romance, it's most definitely a book that those who've read Ms Morgan work before and loved it will definitely enjoy this book.

I don't give spoilers, but if you love books with lots of interwoven characters, a hero and heroine that can be loved from the moment we meet them andy learn their stories, I also love that it's got a decent page count although you do hope it will go on and on ...

I love Sarah Morgan's straight-up romances, but I'm finding her women's fiction tricker to love. To me, this had too much going on, with too many plots, too many PoVs and everyone was too unlikeable in the beginning. By the end they had mostly pulled it around, but it all felt a bit rushed and unresolved, probably because there was too much going on. Each of these stories on their own could have been an interesting read, but because there were three of them (well four if you include the daughter) I never felt like you got to know the women beyond their one principle character trait. I did like the setting, but for the rest, not so much. Never mind.

I liked this book which had more substance than others written by this author (not a criticism- have loved some of her books). But this was a nice change - a lot about relationships others than romantic and I would definitely read more like this.

A lovely, feel good story but with plenty of interesting turns. I was there with the characters, hoping all would turn out well!

This book will get you hooked in no time at all! You are gently pulled in to the lives of Nancy, Lauren and Jenna and their complicated history. The characters were well drawn and very likeable, on the surface they were happy and settled but underneath, unhappy, insecure and unfulfilled, I found it all quite true to life and very believable.

The books charts what happens when they are reunited following a tragedy and how unravelling the secrets of their past clears the air and gives them all the opportunity for a fresh start and happiness.

I love all of Sarah Morgan's books and particularly enjoyed this one. A new style of writing perhaps? I found it a little different to her other books.

Thanks to netgalley for this book

If you like Sarah Morgan you are in for a treat as this is one of the best books she has written

It all starts off with two sisters one married with a teenager the other married with no children although desperately trying for one

The girls are sort of thrown together when one of their husband’s die and they relocate to be nearer family

Mack plays the troubled teenager in this while Lauren her mum tries to keep her head above water whilst dealing with her own grief and the return of Mack’s biological father

A great little book this one if you are after a nice pleasant easy read

Thank you Sarah I really enjoyed this one

This a refreshing read about a family who have to pull together to overcome their issues. The change of character perspective was good and kept the story moving well. The characters are well written and likeable, all-in-all, an easy, entertaining read.

What can I say about this book.
I loved it the only thing I want us a sequel, I want to know if Jenna will get her baby, will Lauren get the man of her dreams.

This book made me laugh, cry and hope for the best for all the characters.

My favourite character was Jenna, she is funny and my heart broke for her Greg because they can't conceive!

Overall this book was bloody brilliant I will definitely read more books by Sarah Morgan

Amazing story line which keeps you on tenterhooks to see what might happen next. Sisters are described as a force that unites people which is certainly true for these sisters and their relationship with their Mother.
I love the way the story is written as it's so easy to read and pick up the story when you get back to it. So if you want to enjoy a good read pick this book

I cant express how much I love Sarah Morgans books and this is no exception! A fab page turner and must read!

I enjoyed this book but found it a little slow at times. I liked how the chapters alternated between narrators, Grandmother, Daughters and Grand daughter. Seeing how the different generations interpreted their lives and the secrets they kept was interesting. It showed that keeping secrets isn’t always for the good of others and sometimes the truth is best to be spoken about.

How To Keep A Secret is more about the dynamics between three generations of women as opposed to being an out an out romance. I loved the depth of story and characters that Sarah Morgan delivered and I loved how the story was told from all four point of views as it really enabled me to connect to all the main characters. This was a lovely heartwarming read and I really enjoyed this women's fiction read and would happily recommend it.

I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.

How to keep a secret is the story of sisters Lauren and Jenna, this book is full of complex relationships based on lies and the journey they embark on when it all starts to unravel.

A book that draws you in and keeps you wanting to turn the pages to see what comes next and how each relationship is affected and how it's affected. I really enjoyed this book, the characters were all complex but different and it worked really well especially with it involving the three generations of women.

A different writing style for Sarah Morgan but another fantastic book
