This is a brilliant book for young babies and toddlers to teach them their first numbers.
I loved the images and the way of learning the numbers is great - a lovely book and I know my daughter will love it!

What you would expect from Judith Kerr: charming illustrations forming a warm and loving depiction of family life.

My children and I loved this! Great to see beloved Mog characters in a new format. My 3 year olds enjoyed counting all the images and guessing what Mog would be up to on each page.

MOG is a timeless favourite character, I read MOG's storybooks with my children, and now I'm reading with my grandson.
The illustrations are comical and colourful, and the numbers are clearly defined. Arranged with the number in large, clear font on the left-hand side and the MOG illustration and phrase, including the number on the right-hand side, it is easy to use and reinforces the number using MOG's comical antics. There is a summary of all the numbers 1 to 10 at the end, as MOG dreams of counting.
It is suitable for children of one year upwards because they can enjoy the pictures and become familiar with the number shapes. My grandson is two, and he named most of the numbers and counted the items in the MOG illustrations.

Mog the loveable cat is back once again in a new book for teaching children to count. Perfect for youngsters from babies to small children the book counts up to ten with Mog having a situation for each number such as using toys or family to portray the number chosen for that page.



The layout features a plain white background with the left page featuring the large black number, whilst the right page shows the illustration matching the number.



The illustrations are drawn in the same way as all the books before and I picked up on a return character and a favourite of mine, Mog's toy bunny from the previous Mog and Bunny book.
