Meet The Sky was a great survival story that will have you hooked. Once I started reading I couldn't stop until I knew what happened Sophie, Finn and their families. GREAT BOOK

I’m becoming a huge fan of McCall Hoyle! Her novels are fresh and unique, with fascinating characters and original concepts. She has a talent for drawing the reader in from the first page and holding on to the imagination until the last word is read. Hoyle is a must read author for fans of YA fiction!

This second book by award winning McCall Hoyle is a perfect YA choice for teen readers. Set in the midst of a hurricane, Sophie and Finn are thrown together and must push through harrowing circumstances and a past separation as they attempt to survive. As a clean romance, I am able to select this book as part of our nominations for our junior high book award. My students loved skyping with McCall Hoyle last year. Her enthusiasm and generosity connected and resonated. This love of readers, writers, and words shows in her writing as well.

In Meet the Sky, the main characters face a natural disaster during a time when they are also trying to resolve their own relationship which can also be referred to as a disaster. They must work together in order to survive, and through the struggles, their true feelings for each other are revealed.
