This isn't really a novel, it's actually two novellas in one, and they are both quite good. The first is quite heart breaking when we realise that an autistic and brain damaged Sally is manipulated and beaten up by a drug dealing duo who are eventually caught and incarcerated. Unfortunately Sally isn't perceived as the most reliable of witnesses in front of the magistrate. The second novella involves murder of a client from Dr. Tony Scriven's group therapy session. The culprit, they believe becomes immediately apparent, until doubt is cast upon their assumption which leads to a very interesting read. These were both interesting and particularly suitable for fans of short stories. They were well written and engaging. I read them both quickly and enjoyed them equally.
