The fourth book of the Silken Edge series focuses on Cindy and her indecision between Devon and Troy. Cindy though she is new on BDSM she will soon have to admit that she is really into it, but will her child friend accept her? Will her dream to have Devon become true? And what about Troy? Was she really in love with him or were they just sex buddies? Who will end with her?

I have to admit Laice really overcame herself. I honestly enjoyed the story even though I am not at all into BDSM. Her narration was fresh, conveying an innocence and a sentimental deepness that I really enjoyed. This time she really delved into her characters and they popped out of the book like real everyday people.

If you are NOT into BDSM I think you will enjoy reading this one as it is quite different from the previous one. However If you are really into BDSM then you may find boring this soft version and you may only enjoy getting to know just what happened next to the world of this book serie.

Silken Secrets by Laci Paige, a great addition to the Silken Edge series. Great characters, a perfect amount of spiciness for the storyline, and great dialogue. I look forward to reading more in this series and more by this author.

I liked Silken Secrets much more than the other book I've read in this series, Silken Desires. This time around the story centers on Cindy, Troy and Devon. Back when they were teens, Cindy was friends with Troy and Devon, and she had feelings for both of them at times, but Devon ended up enlisting. Cindy and Troy were left to hang out with the other members of his and Devon's band, and eventually he and Cindy drifted into a fwb situation that ended when she up and disappeared on him. Now, years later, her best friend and roommate, Linda, has a birthday surprise for her that will bring her back into the guys' orbit and ultimately change her and their lives. But, Cindy isn't the young girl she was back when they knew her, will her new self, and what she likes in the bedroom, turn the men away from her?

I won't spoil who Cindy ends up with, or if she ends up with either of them, but I will say the journey she and the two men take is not only sexy, but fraught with lots of emotions, both sad and joyful and everything in between. I ended up liking all three characters, a lot, especially Cindy. She's very much self-aware and confident in herself and what she likes, and I appreciate that in a good female character, as it's not always the case in heroines these days. I wish that one of the men had been more supportive and far less judgemental of Cindy's desires, but I can let it pass, as Cindy did. I just wish his judgment hadn't caused Cindy so much pain and caused them to lose precious time together. Aside from that, I liked Silken Secrets and its three leads.
